DEMO VERSION Play Guide


The current game version and this corresponding guide
are still under development. The final product may differ.

How to play

Two modes are available in this demo version:


- One player versus CPU
- Two players versus each other

Please choose your sides at the controller select


screen.

Please select your character.


You can return to the previous screen by
pressing the cancel button.

After selecting your character, you can:


- Verify and/or adjust your button settings
- Change the character's colors

Gauge Screen Layout

Life bar You lose the round when your life reaches 0.
You lose one when losing one round. Losing your
Round icon
last round icon causes you to lose the game.
The round ends when it reaches 0. The character
Timer
with the most life wins this round.
You can use the Overdrives and the Roman cancel
Tension gauge
as soon as it is more than half-full.

BURST Gauge You can launch a Psych Burst when its full.
Increases as you block attacks, and increases your
R.I.S.C Level
damage taken.

Movement

Forward Dash (Air OK) L3 button or →→

Offense

A strike attack.
Cannot be blocked by a crouching guard.

Dust Attack R1 button If this move hits as a counter, press ↑ to


follow-up for chaining additional attacks.
Try to press the same attack button multiple
times during the follow-up phase.
A strike attack.
Cannot be blocked by a standing guard.
Sweep ↓ R1 button
Knocks your opponent down to the ground if
it hits.
Throw technique.

Defense

Blocks the incoming attacks of

Roman Cancel
L1 button or three attack buttons at the same time

Can be activated while attacking, blocking, or other


various situations. Will trigger various effects if the
opponent is close by when activated.

Using it after you successfully land


an attack gives you a chance to
land additional attacks!

Using it when blocking can help you


escape from pressure!

Psych Burst

R1 button + any attack button

Repels your opponent far away.


Can be used while being hit or when blocking.
