29th ANNUAL NATIONAL CONVENTION AND SEMINAR-WORKSHOP ON VALUES

EDUCATION OF THE PAMBANSANG SAMAHAN PARA SA EDUKASYON
SA PAGPAPAHALAGA INC.

The Pambansang Samahan para sa Edukasyon sa Pagpapahalaga Inc. will

conduct the 29th Annual National Convention and Seminar-Workshop on Values
Education with the theme, Pagpapanumbalik at Pagpapatibay ng Kagandahang-Asal:
Hamon ng Milenyong Panahon, from November 30 to December 2, 2019 at the Grand
Xing Imperial Hotel, H. Montinola Corner Muelle Loney Street, Iloilo City.

The activity aims to

1. revive the moral and national consciousness of participants on

Filipino Values and Character;
2. capacitate teacher-participants on how to provide effective learning
environment for character development;
3. enable the learner-participants to demonstrate and promote positive
Filipino Values for nation building through the following contest:
sayawit, poster making contest, and Tagis Talino; and
4. provide the parent-participants the opportunity to showcase their
innovative campaign strategies in promoting the DepEd core values.

The target participants are Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao supervisors, principals,

head teachers, teachers, parents and learners of public and private elementary and
secondary schools.

Participation of public and private schools shall be subject to the no-

disruption-of-classes policy stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 titled Instituting
Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
