    Solsona National High School conducted a No Smoking Advocacy and Anti-Drug campaign on June 28, 2019 in accordance with DepEd policies. The event was held at the school's covered court and featured speakers from the Philippine National Police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency. The objective was to educate students on avoiding tobacco, drugs, and other risky behaviors in order to live healthy, productive lives free from substance abuse. Over 100 students attended and the symposium successfully raised awareness of the dangers of smoking and drug use.

    ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

    Towards a school community which is free from tobacco and drugs...

    In adherence to DepEd N0. 48, s. 2016 and DepEd Order No. 37, s. 2017,

    Solsona National High School conducted its 2019 No Smoking Advocacy cum Anti-

    Drug campaign on June 28, 2019.

    The symposium was held at Solsona National High School Covered Court. It

    aims to live the DepEd Core Values of being MAKATAO and MAKABANSA. The said

    activity was done successfully with the joint effort of the Philippine National Police

    (PNP) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA). The resource speakers for

    the said symposium were employees from the Phil. National Police (PNP) and

    Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) namely Police Staff Sergeant Geronne

    R. Romero, Investigation Agent III Delia E. Inay, Intelligence Officer II Ben Camillo C.

    Jasmin, Jr. and Intelligence Officer I Lourie P. Agunat.

    One of the most important objectives of the said symposium was to encourage

    students not to smoke and do not put their lives at risk. The symposium aims to spread

    the awareness of students about drugs and smoking impacts to their life and careers.

    The said activity ended at 12:00 noon and it was indeed a successful one.
