Purpose and Scope of the Program The 2018 Division Search for Outstanding Teaching, Teaching-Related and Non-Teaching Employees isa division-wide program on awards and recognition anchored on the Program on ‘Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE, of the Department of Education (Depkid Onder No 9, s 2002) and the annual Search for Outstanding Public Officials and Employees that has been conducted by the Civil Service Commission (CSC Memorandum Circular No. 03, $2016), The search activity aims to encourage, reward and give duc recognition to the top performing teaching, teaching-related and non-teaching employees who have demonstrated continuing commitment and outstanding performance. Its ultimate goal 1s to produce highly motivated human resources who are essential to organizational productivity and contribute to improving access, quality of delivery and governance of basic education The initiative provides an inclusive opportunity to all potential employees to benefit from the rewards and recognition system that the department has already established. It prepares our human resources more ‘competitively for nomination and participation tothe regional and national level search and awards program. ‘The program applies to any active DepEd South Cotabato employee that includes the teaching, teaching-related and non-teaching personnel with the following general qualification ‘+ Regular permanent position in the category applied for and residency in DepEd South Cotabato Division for atleast 3 years; + Performance Rating of Very Satisfactory or better for the last three years, ‘© No pending administrative/civil/criminal case as respondent, defendant or accused; ‘* Not been suspended/sanetioned for violation of administrative policies, rules and regulations and of high ethical standards, and + Not been awarded of similar award as 1* Placer in the Division Level or as ‘qualifier/winner in the Regional or National Level IL.
