conditioner please read the air conditioner operation instructions to avoid the
possibility of damage or accident as a result of incorrect operation.
III. Please switch off the power of the solar air conditioner when not in use, like any
other electrical appliance.
IV. The correct installation and application of your solar air conditioner will allow your
system to operate as designed.
V. Please retain your purchase invoice and this operation instruction manual. Upon
initial installation, complete the “Installation Sheet” at the back for your

According to the laws of thermodynamics, our solar air conditioners will save you
significant running costs on your air conditioning requirements. The degree of savings
depends primarily on the ambient temperature of your region so results may vary
depending on latitude and longitude. Given the system uses the ambient temperature
as the energy source, energy savings can be achieved day or night.
The operation of the system is calm. The air conditioner uses advanced
off-centre blades, foam air ducting and a high performance fan system. These all serve
to reduce the noise of the system accordingly.
Being reverse cycle, the heating function of the solar air conditioner is perfect
for cold areas and brings users the comfort of warmth on cold days. Due to the way the
system operates, it saves more electricity when compared with 100% electrical heating.
Operation is convenient and simple. Not only has it been designed for user
comfort and enjoyment in both cooling and heating, but it is energy efficient and
provides considerable cost savings to the user.

Danger:
Never put your hands or a stick into the air outlet of the indoor or outdoor
machine – this may cause damage to the high-speed fan or yourself.
Never touch the blades when the system is running to prevent trapping your
fingers or damage to the blade motor.
Never remove the ventilating hood of the machine as the high-speed fan may
cause damage to people.
Never allow children to play with the solar air conditioner to prevent any
accidents.
Never moisten the indoor machine and/or the remote controller as this may
cause a short circuit or even a fire.
Never put or use combustible liquid or gas such as hair styling gel, paint, or
gasoline near the machine, otherwise it may cause a fire.
If some abnormal situation happens (such as abnormal noise, smell, smoke, or
temperature increment), please cut off the power immediately. Contact your
local distributor or solar air conditioner service centre. Do not attempt to repair
the machine yourself.
Pre-checking
♦ Please check if the earth wire is correctly connected.
♦ Please check if the air filter(s) are properly in position.
♦ If the solar air conditioner is idle for a long time, please rinse the air filter(s)
before start-up. For more details, please consult the chapter Repair and
Maintenance.
♦ The inlet opening and the outlet opening of the indoor and the outdoor units
should be unblocked.
Optimum operation
♦ Set a comfortable temperature. Avoid exceedingly hot or cold settings, as these
will demand higher demand from the compressor.
• When cooling, if available, draw curtain or shutters to prevent direct sunlight
into the room being cooled.
♦ Please shut any windows and doors as appropriate, otherwise the convection of
indoor and outdoor air will decrease the effect of cooling and heating
♦ If you need to set the pre-runtime, please use the remote controller.
♦ Never place obstacles or barriers near the indoor and outdoor unit's airflow paths.
It will decrease the effect of air conditioner system or potentially even stop the
running of the system.
♦ Please clean the air filter frequently. If the air strainer is blocked, it decreases
effect of cooling and heating.

Temperature
To ensure normal working of solar air conditioner, please operate it within the working
temperature ranges. Otherwise, the interior protection, water dripping, or low
efficiency may be induced.
Notice: The graphic example below is based on the standard type solar air-conditioner.
Thus, it may be different in appearance to that of yours - although the principles
remain the same.

initial cooling position and the A/C will run the clean function for no more than 35 minutes. The purpose
of this function is to allow adequate air flow over the coil (while not cooling) to clean dust or moisture off
the evaporator. Completing this from time to time will assist in preventing dust aggregating on the
evaporator or mould forming due to water deposition on the evaporator (coil) which can cause in time
unusual smells.
b. To turn off the "Clean" function, depress the "Clean" button again or alternatively simply depress the
Note: "Clean" function can be set in parallel with the "time start" function. If this was to occur, the system
The mode button enables you to select which operation you wish to have the system operating. Each time

c. Once the system has been set to sleep mode, the heating operation enables the set temperature to
decrease 20C after 1 hour and another 20C 1 hour later
When this button is depressed, the horizontal wind direction vanes will will swing/adjust automatically.
Once the air is flowing at the desired angle, depress the button again so that the vanes will lock in that
position.
The air conditioner has a special dry and anti-mould function. Depress this button to enact the function.
The function is available when cooling, dry and auto (cooling and dry) modes are selected. The horizontal
vanes will move to the default position when mode is selected. The system will circulate hot refrigerant
through the coil for 3 minutes to dry with the fan drum circulating gentle air flow to dry the coil and help
prevent mould from building up due to moist environment. By utilising this function from time to time
will assist in mitigating potential unusual smells from developing due to mould formation.
a. To operate the system with the remote control, please aim the remote at the indoor unit.
b. The remote control needs to be within 8m of the indoor unit with clear line of sight.
c. Please do not drop or throw the remote as it may damage the remote.
d. Do not leave the remote in direct sunlight or a hot environment.
e. Use standard batteries as per capacity needed and not rechargeable batteries.
f. Remove batteries from remote prior to system not being used for an extended period of time.
g. If screen on the remote is dim or doesn't not work, batteries need to be replaced.
Please ensure to unplug the electricity supply before attempting any standard user
maintenance activity. In the event of system repairs, ensure you only engage a suitably
qualified air conditioning specialist for repair or service of your air conditioner. Never
attempt to access the internal parts of the machine.
