In the world of millennial, it takes a night to bring up something in trend, something that is
innovative and has a unique content that separates it from the existing other products. Along
with the acceptance of products, they tend to adapt a different lifestyle as well. But there is
always a two side of a coin, likewise pros and cons millennials tend to ignore the consequences
of certain things but adapt it pretty quick. Talking about adapting any habit, smoking cigarettes
have become a major concern. To break free from stress they switch to negative things without
knowing the consequences of it. For teenagers as the age standardized prevalence of any
smoking in men at ages 15-69 years fell from 27% to 24% but rose at ages 15-29. Countless
advertisements are shown and are published showing the negative effects of smoking, tobacco
causes death every 6 seconds yet India is the second leading consumer.

In a survey it was seen that total tobacco related deaths will rise to 8 million by 2030. Negative
fatal effects of excess consumption of tobacco is not unknown to the public but yet they
continue to do so because it is highly addictive and becomes a person’s daily need
unfortunately. According to a report by the Indian Council of Medical Research, tobacco
accounts for about 30% of all cancer in men and women in India. Mouth Cancer in the most
common among men followed by lung cancer. Tobacco related cancer accounts for 42% of all
male deaths due to cancer. Tobacco related cancer accounts for

There are many campaigns that are coming up with antismoking products or strategies. Many
smokers who wish to stop smoking has increased in recent years and smoking cessation
education has been conducted in many countries. The ministry of health and family welfare
launched a ,mass media campaign on bidi smoking. The first government sponsored mass
media campaign in the world that links bidi smoking to heart health. They came up with an
attractive message that quitting smoking is hard but the consequences of not quitting is harder.

Talking about many campaigns coming in forward Patanjali has been proven to one of the
leading ayurvedic brands in India. This product is highly accepted in the society because it is
affordable and people are shifting towards more natural products.
Launching a herbal cigarettes would be great idea as Patanjali focuses towards health benefits
as well.
