The Programme meets the training
requirements of the International Register
of Certificated Auditors for registration as
an Irca recognized ISMS auditor/lead
auditor and provides delegates with an in-
depth knowledge and skills in auditing in
order to carry out information security
management system audits. This
programme assist student with information
security industry background to assess the
adequacy of the design, implementation
and improvement of information security
management system against ISO
27001:2013 in accordance with ISO 19011
Course Objectives:
Lead Auditor Programme is a five-days
course covering the requirements of ISO
27001:2013, 27002:2013, ISO 19001. The
training Programme provides the

interrelationship of ISO 27001:2013 and
the legislative framework relevant to an
ISMS
• Explain the role of an auditor to plan,
conduct report and follow up an ISMS
audit in accordance with ISO 19011

conduct third party audits against the
requirements of the ISO 27001:2013
ISMS and to report and follow-up the
results
• Interpret the requirements of ISO
27001:2013 in the context of an ISMS
audit

accordance with ISO 19011
