Terms & Conditions
Cancellation and Refund Policy
a) 80% refund up to 3 clear days before start of the program. Our hall capacity is
limited, thus if you need to cancel, please inform us as early as possible, so we can
offer this opportunity to someone on our waiting list.
b) For overseas payments - refund is possible only within 90 days from the date of receipt.
c) For those paying with American Express cards, refund is possible only within 75 days
of the date of receipt.
d) For overseas Cash/NEFT payments - refund is not possible.
e) For annual programs like the 8-day or 21-day Hatha Yoga program, Samyama
Sadhana program, etc., re-registration is not possible.
f) All refunds will be reversed using the same mode as used while making the payment,
to the person who made the payment. Refund processing time is 4-6 weeks.
Re-registration Policy
a) 15% of the program fee amount paid will be due as re-registration fee, if you do not
attend the originally registered program date and attend a later one.
b) You can register for the same class/program within 6 months of the originally
registered program start date. If the program fee has increased, you will have to pay
the difference in fee in addition to the re-registration fee.
Check-in
Please arrive and report before the check-in time mentioned below to the check-in counters
at the Welcome Point in Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore.

No extra charges for the early check in and late check out as above.

Check in counters will be open from 5 PM to 9 PM on the evening before Day 1, and
from 7 AM to 1 PM on Day 1

a) Check-in will not be possible between 9 PM - 7 AM at the Isha Yoga Center. If you
are arriving at Coimbatore city after 8 PM, we request you to stay in Coimbatore city
& check-in the next day morning.
b) Please ensure that you bring an Original Government approved Photo ID card (like
passport, driving license or Aadhaar card). You will not be allowed for the program
without Original ID Proof. All overseas participants/NRIs must bring their
Important passport in original – entry and joining the program will be denied if the original
passport is not produced at the time of check-in.
c) Please note that the Isha Yoga Centre is not equipped to take care of children.
We request you not to bring them along with you for the program.

Travel
Please plan your travel to reach Isha yoga center before the check-in time mentioned
above.
a) From Coimbatore Airport: At the airport, prepaid taxis to “Isha Yoga Center” are
available for a fixed price. Airport Prepaid: 99764 94000. The drive will take about 1.5
hours.
b) From Coimbatore Railway Station: At the railway station, taxis are readily available.
The drive will take about 1.5 hours. Regular buses from the railway station to the Yoga
Center are also available.
c) From Coimbatore Bus Stand: Regular buses to Isha Yoga Center are available every
half hour starting from 5.30 am at Gandhipuram, Coimbatore. To book a taxi with our
Travel Desk, please fill the Taxi Booking Form. Other options include: Taxi: 0422-
4050 6070, Airport Prepaid: 99764 94000, Fast Track: 0422-220 0000, 88077 63308
or Ola mobile (Please check charges and book in advance)
d) Check-in will not be possible between 9 PM - 7 AM at Isha Yoga Center. Please
plan your travel accordingly.
Accommodation
Program accommodation is for participants only and available only for the duration of
the program. Program stay will not be available before or after the program dates and
times indicated. We request you to plan your travel accordingly.
a) If you are arriving before the program or staying after the program, please book a
cottage/room by sending an email to ishastay@ishafoundation.org. If cottage
accommodation is not available, please plan your stay in Coimbatore city.
Confirmation
a) Your participation is confirmed only after the program fee is paid and a valid receipt is
obtained.
b) We request you to plan your travel only after you receive your confirmation for the
program. Making travel arrangements in advance does not entitle a right to participate
in a Program.
Attendance and Commitment
a) To make use of this program, it is very important that you attend the program in a
committed way.
b) Participants must be present at all sessions and be seated on time before the class
begins. It is important to note that, if one is late for a session, they will be asked
to leave the program.
Medical Fitness
a) During the program, the session duration may be for a minimum of 3 to 4 hours without
break. It is in the best interest of the participants, we request you to take medical advice
before registering for the program.
b) Those with a history of any physiological or psychological condition must
consult a doctor prior to registration.
c) Isha Foundation maintains the right to accept or reject any registration on
medical grounds.
Medication
Please bring general medicines for cold, fever, pain relieving ointments, muscle
relaxants, etc., as well as any other regular medication prescribed for you.

Mobile phone/Laptop usage
Mobile phone communication and laptop usage is generally discouraged and will not
be possible during the program hours.
Weather
a) Weather at the Isha Yoga Center is warm from April through September with
temperatures reaching a maximum of 35°C (95°F). Light clothing is recommended.
b) A light sweater or shawl will be useful as evenings may be cool. As it is situated near
the Velliangiri Mountains, the ashram and surrounding areas receive regular rainfall
during this period. It is best to carry light rain gear, like an umbrella or raincoat.

Clothing
a) Participants are advised to wear loose and comfortable clothing for the program.
b) Please bring clothing that covers shoulders, knees and midriff always for both men and
women.
c) Proper attire includes ankle-length pants for both men and women (no capris or shorts)
and long shirts that cover the upper arms. Please avoid tight clothes – both for your
own comfort and as a sign of respect for the local culture.
d) Loose fitting salwar/churidar sets and kurta/pajama would be ideal. You can find these
in all leading textile/garment shops. They can also be purchased online at

Laundry
Due to shortage of water, washing clothes and laundry services will not be possible.
Participants should bring enough clothing to last the entire duration of the program.
Footwear
Removing footwear before entering interior spaces is a part of the cultural ethos. For your
convenience, please bring footwear that can be easily removed.
Valuables
a) Participants will be keeping your luggage in the shared space depending upon the
accommodation type chosen. It is best not to bring expensive items like electronic
gadgets & laptops, etc.
b) If you are arriving early or staying after the program, to safeguard your belongings,
please bring a small luggage lock with two or more copies of the key. Lockers
are not available.

Isha yoga center will not be responsible for any loss of your valuables or belongings
during your stay. Please keep them safely.

Toiletries & Other Items


Family members or friends who are coming together should keep their belongings and
toiletries separate, as they may be given different accommodation. Please bring a
torchlight, umbrella and mosquito repellent (cream/lotion).

Diet
Southern Indian vegetarian diet will be provided. Please do not bring snacks and
eatables, as it will not be supportive for your participation during the program
Recording/ Photography
Please note that photography is permitted only near the entrance to the Dhyanalinga
complex. Kindly refrain from taking photographs or recordings anywhere else within the
Yoga Center.
Leaving ashram premises
Participants are not permitted to leave the premises of Isha Yoga Center for the
duration of the program. Please bring all necessities for the duration of the program,
including medicines, toiletries, etc.
Important note
Smoking, alcohol consumption, or consumption of any kind of intoxicant is strictly
prohibited. You will be asked to leave Isha Yoga Centre immediately if found in
possession or using such substances.

Isha Foundation reserves the right to accept or revoke your registration for the
program.

The above-mentioned program fees are also inclusive of food and accommodation for
the duration of the program.

Notes:

1. Registration is confirmed only upon payment.


2. All program accommodation is air-conditioned.
3. Please make travel arrangements for the program ONLY after making payment and
receiving confirmation of the same.
4. Family packages are applicable to direct family members only (first-degree
relationships only).
5. The program accommodation is for participants only and all participants must stay in
program accommodation.
6. Partial cancellation and refund of family packages is not an option – please write to
ieretreat@ishafoundation.org for details.
7. For three participants of the same family (direct) occupying a Family Standard room,
the program fee will be Rs. 45,000/. The Family Standard room is a twin-bed and one
additional mattress will be provided on the floor for the third participant.

Program Details – Inner Engineering Retreat

1. Inner Engineering Retreat is a 4-day program (Day 1 to Day 4). Please be here latest
on Day 1 by 1:00 p.m. Program closing time on Day 4 is 8:00 p.m.
2. Please plan your return travel (on Day 4) from Isha Yoga Center after 8:00 p.m. only.
It is a 90-minute drive from the Railway Station/Airport/Bus Station to the
Ashram (by taxi)

From October through February, the climate cools and the days are
pleasant, but temperatures can touch a minimum of 15°C (60°F) at

Coimbatore is well connected with all metros by air, rail and road. Transportation facilities are
available round the clock at the airport. Tariff from airport/railway station to the Yoga Center
approximately ranges from Rs. 1,000/ to Rs.1,500/. Please check with our Travel Desk directly

Shambhavi Mahamudhra
Regular practice of the Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya has enabled people to either completely
