The television broadcasting market expected to reach a value of nearly USD 346.

significantly growing at a CAGR of 10.7% during the forecast period. The growth in the Television
Broadcasting market is due to factors such as the growing economy and a rise in population.

However, the market for television broadcasting is expected to face certain restraints from several factors
such as growing trends of online media and rising competition.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, the Minister of Trade said that Indonesia's export conditions in 2020 will be in
a difficult situation due to the US-China trade war. Until the end of 2019, the government targets export
growth to reach 8% from last year.

However, citing the latest data from the Central Statistics Agency, the condition actually reversed. Indonesia's
export value from January to July 2019 was only 95.79 billion US dollars, down 8.02 percent compared to
the same period last year.

National exports were the most contributed by the processing industry with a share of 74.52% valued at 11.51
billion US dollars. The second-largest portion was followed by mining goods 13.06%, oil, and gas 10.39%
and agriculture 2.03%.

Meanwhile, Bank Indonesia predicts that the Indonesian economy will grow by 5.1% in the third quarter of
2019. Like the previous quarters, household consumption is still the main supporting factor of economic
growth.

Based on the data from Statistics Indonesia (Badan Pusat Statistik), it is mentioned that economic growth in
the second quarter of 2019, only grew at 5.05%, lower than the realization of economic growth in the first
quarter of 2019 of 5.07% (YoY).

The economic growth in Indonesia is also affected by the current global economic conditions that are not
conducive. The trade war between the United States and China continues to be prolonged, not to mention
the tendency of declining world commodity prices and also the position of the United Kingdom towards the
decision to exit the European Union which is increasingly backward polemic towards prolonged economies
around the world.

In addition, the World Bank in its Global Economic Risks and Implications for Indonesia report also predicts
that the Indonesian economy in 2020 will grow below 5% due to the impact of a slowing world economy.

Based on the data shown above, with an increase in viewership of television and increasing technology the
scope and potential for the global television broadcasting market are expected to significantly rise in the
forecast period. But, the downward trend in the performance of the Indonesian economy needs to be
concerned by all industry players.
