The Three Word Game.
• Basically as the title states, It's a three-word game. I'll start a story
with three words, then the next person has to continue it on with his
own three words and so on until the last person.
• The twist is that it has to be about MTW or woodwork, So your
knowledge.

RULES AND ROUTINES
I will Model expectations
1. Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is a MUST when using machines
2. Seating plan (signed seats)
3. (PHS) The person beside you is your Peer Health & Safety Officer (machining)
4. Hands up when asking a question.
5. Be on time to class! Attendance is taken at the start of every class.
6. Respect yourself and others! Especially Student Demonstrations
7. Students should be attentive in my class
8. Leaving during class time! Must be requested e.g. Toilet.
9. Come to class with your required equipment.
10. Uncompleted homework will be completed, before practical can start.
11. Chisels/blade safety never walk around or point with them.

ROOF PROJECT
• LEARNING INTENTIONS
1. This project will develop the student's skill in Design, Making and Assembly of a Project
2. After the project you will be proficient in:
- Making a corner halving joint,
- Personal Design concepting,
- Auxiliary Elevations,
- Transferring 2D Dimensions to 3D material,
- Sawing to a depth,
- Sawing at an angle,
- Sawing compound angles,
- Glue setup and multiple assemblies,
- Experimenting with different materials.
3. The student will also have a greater awareness of the theory behind the Topics of Roofs, and Chimneys.
4. Students will also have a better understanding of Design Process.
PROJECT BRIEF
• Design, Make and Assemble a Roof Project
• Your artefact should include design aspects inspiration by building regulation and be designed with
the idea of being a learning aid for the topic of Roofs and Chimneys. It should be elegant in design
and hand crafted.

• This project is designed to test your drawing, and marking out accuracy, hand skills and introduce
reasoning behind design to you as this project will be a personal learning aid for your studies.
