5 Blog Lesson Idea
5 Blog Lesson Idea
The blog project will take about a year to prepare the final test for Algebra. Because the blog project takes
one year, all of the Algebra learning standards will be addressed. All of the students have to create their
blog so they can participate in the blog project. For student security, they have to use a nickname on the
blog instead of using real names.
Students have to create their study guide for quiz and test with the materials what the teacher already
uploaded for students. Furthermore, they have to post the assignment that the teacher gave. As they upload
their study work on their blog, the other students can see it. Also, they can write a comment on the blog if
there is a mistake or something wrong. Also, the teacher will write a comment to the student to give
feedback. The teacher will check and grade all of the student’s blogs every end of each unit.

Level 5: Expansion
Through the blog project, students can apply what they learn in the class in their own blog. On their blog,
the student has to upload their own study guide for unit test and quiz. Also, students can visit other
student’s blogs and see their work. They can communicate through writing comments. To do the blog
project, the student can use a laptop, smartphone, and tablet. Furthermore, students can do the blog project
outside the classroom.
Importance of technology:
This project can be completed using a note book or activity paper. However, sharing each student’s work
will be hard. To share each of the student’s notebook, they have to post on the board. But, the size of the
board is limited so only a few students can post their work. And since there is no space for comments,
communicate between students is difficult. Also, some student may lose their work. So, this project has to
be completed using the blog. To participate in the blog project, the student has to use laptop, smartphone,
and tablet.
