PROJECT TITLE: “COMMERCIAL SPACE: FOOD PARK”


STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM:
A businessman owned a vacant lot near the beach located in Sta. Ana, Cagayan it is now a place for his unused
container vans, so decided to put up a food business since its nearby resorts and other hotels, he is also a tourism
advocate in the town.
PURPOSE:
Since Sta. Ana beaches is one of the most visited tourist spot in Cagayan, he decided to put up a food park that can
cater tourist/visitors/people in town. He wants it to be different so he is using up his containers as well to save for the
structure, since he is inspired to other people who use it as a habitat. And the most important goal that he wants to
achieve is making it one of the tourist destinations in town.
PROJECT SITE FEATURES:
The site is located at Sta. Ana, Cagayan. The proposed site is at the seaside near hotel, resort and other commercial
establishment.
DESIGN REQUIREMENTS:
The businessman’s said lot measures 20meters x 23 meters and the container van is 2.343 meters in width, 2.280 in
height by 20ft/40ft in length. Since he is a nature lover, one of his requirements is a structure that is inspired by a
bio mimicry concept that will create an identity to the place. and different to the other establishment.
