Sub: Open Door Assessment Orientation Programme on 17th August 2019 for students of Classes
VI and VII

We have been conducting the “Open Door Assessment" since the academic session 2016 for all
students of Classes VI and upwards, in order to make classroom learning more meaningful and
enriching. Open Door Assessment is a tool that assesses students’ aptitude for selected topics in
Mathematics and Science. It is a series of high-quality assessments, conducted by a group of alumni
from IIT Madras, through which the teachers get a clear picture of the student's cognition, retention
and understanding in the above-mentioned subjects, which further helps them in planning their
classroom teaching.

In order to make sure that students take part in the assessments seriously and get the most out of
the program, your involvement and understanding of the program is necessary. For your better
understanding of the inherent aspects and features of the Open-Door Assessment, we have planned
an orientation with the team of ‘Open Door Assessment’ for all interested parents of Classes VI and
VII on 17th August 2019 from 10.00 a.m. in our School Auditorium.

We hereby extend our greetings and cordially invite you to the Open-Door Assessment Orientation
Programme. Presence of both the parents will be appreciated. We request you for an active
participation in the best interest of our students.
