WHO AM I?
A mediocre student who’s striving to finish her
studies. I think, that’s what everyone’s goal inside every
learning institution, and I am one of them. As an individual,
who’s still going through the phase of adolescence, I can tell
that I’m just starting to look through the reality of life.
And one of its reality is the fact that as I grow up, more
and more responsibilities awaits me.
At my age and situation right now, one of those is for
me to be expected to do well in my studies. Ever since I
was a child, one of my biggest struggles when it comes to
studying is/was Mathematics and numbers. I used to hate
every subject that has a relation with Mathematics because
of my growing struggle on it up until now. But I realized
that at the end of the day, Mathematics is one of the
major necessities in every field of education. Every time I’m
struggling with it, I just cheer myself up to be more
motivated. I’m creating a habit of practicing more examples
of every lesson to help me master or understand the
equations and problems properly.
I am trying my best to be patient not only with the
subject but also with myself. I may not excel in the field
of Mathematics, but I am trying my very best to understand
and absorb every lesson that I came to encounter with.

1
MY BEST OUTPUTS

This was one of my best outputs in General

Mathematics. Aside from having the perfect score, I really
was able to understand the lesson right away.

2
Another perfect score, it’s really not a daily event that
I get consecutive perfect scores in Math related activities.

3
I can say that I didn’t have a hard time with this
lesson for they have short equations/solutions. Also, they
are much more relatable for they are applicable when it
comes to baking/finances.

4
REFLECTION
For the past 5 months that I’ve been taking this
subject, I can say that it really challenged me a lot as a
student who’s having a hard time with numbers. I can say
that I gave my best in understanding and absorbing all the
lessons that we took.
Our teacher on the other hand, was very effective and very
hands on. I am thankful for his patience, especially at times
when the class is getting out of his control. He is also
very approachable that made me comfortable in asking
questions when I don’t understand some parts of the lesson.
He gives us plenty of time and examples in studying every
lessons of his subject. Also, he is very considerate and his
wits makes his class more interesting.
I’m really not a great fan of Math, nor I’m good at it.
But what can I do? It’s part of our lives and every
educational system. I’m really glad that I was able to survive
another Math subject. Hopefully, I can use the lessons that
we’ve studied in my future studies. There’s no room for
hating Mathematics, we just need to provide a lot of space
in understanding and having more patient towards it. I think,
every subject, not only Mathematics deserves that.

CREATIVE REFLECTION
STRUGGLE
Writing is easy,

Nor formulating these answers

Why was it so much easy?

Forgetting all these lessons

I’m no Einstein nor Euler,

But I’m a STEM Student

And this subject,

I shall conquer

Solutions has their own way,

That takes my mind away

Whatever future awaits me,

Math please be good to me

6
EASIEST vs. HARDEST
THE EASIEST TOPIC
I think for me; the Logarithmic Function is the
easiest topic that I’ve encountered. It is because the
calculator does all the work and computations and we
just have to round off the final answer.

THE HARDEST TOPIC

In my case, the hardest topic that we had
was the solving of One-to-one Functions. I really had
a rough time solving it because it has a very long
solution/equation. Plus, the fact that every problem or
certain type of example has a different/own kind of
solution.

MY MATH EMOJIS
JUNE JULY

By the month of July,

At this month, I don’t
things are fine and I’m
know what to feel yet
just going with the flow.
towards the subject because
Typical lessons are started
we’re just getting started.

AUGUST
and classes are regular.

August was the month for

the Midterm exams, I was
not happy with my result
in my Gen. Math exam but
I’ll try harder next time.

8
SEPTEMBER
By the month of September, I was all over the place
because a lot of requirements on different subjects we’re
needed to be submitted and retaining the lessons in Gen.
Math on my mind was a challenge.

OCTOBER
This October is the month of our final examinations.
I’m just hoping that I’ll be able to pass my exams
especially in General Mathematics.
