FIRST PTAA MEETING

New Brighton School of the Philippines, Inc. as it launched its school opening last June
22, 2019, it has offered programs for both College and Senior High School. In Senior High
School Department, we conducted our first PTAA meeting last July 19,2019. To discuss
important details such as School’s Calendar of Events, Academic Behavior, PTAA Project,
Election of Officers and the first event of the school which is the Acquaintance Party.

The meeting is expected to start at exactly 8:30 am in the morning, at 8 am the

registration starts of each parent or guardian of different students coming from the 3 strands.
But unfortunately, at 8:30 there are only 6 parents so we waited another 30 minutes interval for
the other parents to arrive. At 9 am there are exactly 19 parents arrive at the venue of the
meeting which is held in the Room 102 the classroom of ABM class.

PTAA Meeting was facilitated by Mr. Jan Vincent Ladres the Science, Technology,
Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) class adviser. Followed by the opening Prayer lead by
Erwil L. Agbon the Accounting, Business and Management (ABM) class adviser. The meeting
starts at exatly 9:15 am. The first agenda was the School’s Calendar of activities, which ended
at exactly 9:45 am. Followed by the Academic Behavior as well which was tackled by our
Principal Maam Josyl T. Agustin MAEd, which was ended at exactly 10 am. Then maam Josyl
also mention the first PTAA project which is the amortization of 100 pesos it was in lined with
the Project of KCC Foundation this coming December. At 10:30 am we discuss the first event of
the school which is the acquaintance party. 11 am we open the table for the open forum to
assess the concerns of parents. The only concern of the parents was the ID is not clear and
there some information’s which is not clearly stated. This time also we elected our first PTAA
officers to the parents to enhance the task given to them and the intensification of
implementation of PTAA project. The meeting was ended at exactly 11:30 am, it was indeed a
successful task for the SHS advisers and also the Principal. We sincerely give thanks to those
parents who extend their time to attend the first PTAA meeting of the school.
