This document outlines procedures for leak prevention and housekeeping of diesel generators and equipment. It describes conducting daily inspections and routine thermal scanning to detect any leakages. If leaks are found, work orders will be created and initial troubleshooting and temporary prevention measures will be taken. Spare parts will be prepared and the leaks rectified by maintenance staff according to proper procedures while being supervised. Housekeeping will be done after to clean all traces, and activities will be inspected before work orders are closed and maintenance clearances ended after equipment test runs.

1. To conduct monitoring/routine daily inspection of DG especially FO lines, nest of tubes, cyl
heads, & etc. Remove hotbox covers. - PLANNING – to sched/dispatch routine - OS – implementation/monitor - ERO – Execution o Provide WO for any found leakages Perform initial action Conduct initial troubleshoot & recommend thru WO. Check how to temporarily prevent the leakage found. – provide covering or “sahod” for prevention. 2. Rectification of leakage and housekeeping. - PLANNING – to sched/dispatch - MS/SM – provide spareparts needed if required, provide spares. Preparation. - SM/MS – troubleshoot cause - SM/MS – SM perform rectification/replacement as per instruction & proper procedure. o –MS to supervise/observe. - SM – to perform housekeeping at working area after activities. Clean all traces of leakages. - OILERS(Rapids) – to assist O&M on housekeeping activities(IF NECESSARY). - MS/ERO/CRO – to inspect quality of activities done by SM. - ERO/CRO – Closing of maintenance clearance. To observe at least 1 hour at maximum loading - SM/ERO – to observe activities done during DG/Equipment test run. - PLANNING/MS/OS/CRO – recording. WO closing. - 3. To conduct routine thermal scanning of return lines & etc. - PLANNING – to sched/dispatch - ES/OS – implementation/monitor - SE/ERO – execution/reporting
