RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.
Seesaw is a platform that allows teachers to manage student driven portfolios. This app gives students their own personal journal
where they can add pictures, videos, sounds or notes. Combing audio or text to pictures is made easy for the student to
personalize their submissions. This app connects the teacher, parents and students all together to ensure great communication.
Teachers may also assign activities to be submitted through SeeSaw. Directions may be given through text, audio, video or a
combination of all options.

VALUE-ADDED EXPLANATION
Based on the “value-added rating scale” above, how would you rate the technology integration you described, using the
selected resource?
Explain your rating based on the rubric indicators.
I would rate this resource as a two. There is not a high value being added to a lesson plan through this tool. SeeSaw is to be used
more as a portfolio, a collection and archive of past works. It can be used to assign activities but that can be done through
multiple platforms.
