REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Dundee Precious Metals Tsumeb Community Trust is a welfare organization registered under the
National Welfare Act, 1965 (Act 79 of 1965). The Trust actively work with its partners, beneficiaries
and other key stakeholders to invest in, facilitate and jointly produce mutually valued outcomes and
opportunities for the communities in Tsumeb, Oshikoto Region and the Namibian nation at large.
Dundee Precious Metals Tsumeb Community Trust invites registered, competent and experienced
Namibian companies and individuals to submit proposals for the provision of Business Consultancy
Services.
Description of Service:
The purpose of this consultancy is to solicit expert opinion in understanding the social, economic
and legal implications of firstly, acquiring, rehabilitating, maintaining and managing identified set
of properties in Tsumeb as a sustainably profitable business venture and secondly, to recommend
possible “Youth Centered” recreational and empowerment projects and initiatives as part of
community social upliftment investments at the same facility while taking into consideration the
previous activities and services that were offered and its past benefits to the community at large.
Scope of Service:
1. Project feasibility study.
2. Detailed business plan including a management model and costing to support the
implementation of proposed ideas.
3. Presentation on findings to the Board of Trustees.
