Did you know that this was used as a weapon
for the Maya’s, an adornment or a ritual?
This was the most favoured and promising
weapon. As you can see, this was a very sharp
and pointy weapon used for fighting.

Jade
Surprisingly, this lime rock was rare at the time of
the Maya civilisation. This was called, “Jade”.
When it was found, it would have a face on which
would have been carved on. It may have been used
as a weapon but it might not have been!
Feathers
The Maya trapped birds and caught their feathers. The birds’
feathers would have been used to design hats, clothing and
much more. Unsurprisingly, these were also used to add or
make a hat have a bigger height.
Cacao Beans
This was a type of food that they ate. They
would have found this in forests but not all places
had forests. That is why they traded them. However,
cacao beans had its own God like most Maya food.

Neave
