I never look back, darling (The Incredibles)

I keep moving forward. (Meet the Robinsons)
Enter the world of yesterday, today, and tomorrow (Walt Disney)
To spend a day warm on the sand. (The Little Mermaid)
You're the one who can fill the world with sunshine, (Snow White and the Seven Dwarves)
Shining at the end of everyday. (The Carousel of Progress)
Today is a good day to try (The Hunchback of Notre Dame)

Listen with your heart, you will understand (Pocahontas)

It’s crystal clear (Aladdin)
Just because it's what's done, doesn't mean it's what should be done. (Cinderella)
Nothing’s gone forever, only lost. (Mary Poppins Returns)

The very things that hold you down are going to lift you up (Dumbo)
There’s a great big hunk of world down there with no fence around it. (Lady and the
Tramp)
I will find my way, I can go the distance (Hercules)
All you need is a little faith, trust, and pixie dust (Peter Pan)

You don’t have time to be timid, you must be bold and daring. (Beauty and the Beast)
If you can dream it, you can do it (Walt Disney)
I have a dream, I hope will come true (Lava)
No time for stupid questions (Mulan)

The past can hurt, but (The Lion King)

I never look back, darling, it distracts from the now (The Incredibles)

This poem is meant to encourage hope and resilience through the past to the future. I felt this
way because that is the meaning behind a lot Disney stories, where you can do anything if you
put your heart into it. My favorite lines is the connection of lines, “You're the one who can fill
the world with sunshine, shining at the end of everyday.” Unintentionally these lines match up
very well with word choice and meaning, where you are the cause of your own hope and joy.
