LIMITED.

In this day I learn about cheque voucher. And how can we fill

Monday 08.7.2019 This day I learn who can I issue a cheque book
WEEK 2
Thursday 11.7.2019 This day I learn the complete procedure of account opening.
Friday 12.7.2019 I learn about opening of new account for the customers.
Monday 15.7.2019 This day I again perform my previous task account opening
WEEK 3
Wednesday 17.7.2019 This day I fill up cheque and cash voucher for customer.
Friday 19.7.2019 Posting the cheque in register and tally with cashier
Monday 22.7.2019 Receive the cheque books and make their entries and learn the
procedure of remittance
WEEK 4
Wednesday 24.7.2019
This day I learn clearing procedure and also perform regular
activities.
WEEK 5
Tuesday 30.7.2019 This day I learn the complete procedure of account opening.
Monday 03.8.2019 Fill the demand draft for customer and filling up cash voucher.
WEEK 6
Tuesday 05.8.2019 I learn about pay order. And also pass the entry in cash book.
Friday 08.8.2019 I learn about UNI remote and perform routine activity
Monday 11.8.2019 Posting the cheque in register and tally with cashier
RECOMMENDATION
The overall organization is very good and results oriented, but I feel there is a need of
improvement in some areas. The following are the suggestions that I have recommend for the
united bank limited
Information technology should be introduced in all the branches to enhance the
efficiently
Dominating influences of politicians and bureaucrats have been mainly responsible for
the deterioration that has crept in the banking industry
Effective training and qualified, dutiful and vigilant inspection teams are inducted per
in all the banks
The UBL branches should improve his position to attract more customers
There is a great need of proper training of employees. Because whenever they were
asked about the latest banking the answer was sorry, we don’t know.
Like the other reputed commercial banks UBL should recruited some officers especially
from the fresh MBA’s and M. Com students. Doing so, the more talented persons would
enter in the management and they will try to make the National Bank compatible with
the other banks.
This branch is not doing many functions to open L/C and to deal in export and import
facilities. Therefore, bank should hire export staff for such type of activities and star
them in the branch
Create a marketing department in this branch and in other branches improve the
marketing department that will give a lot of profit
Most of the branch staff is unaware of updates regarding UBL’s product &
services especially the online services. Human Resource Department must work on
providing a platform to the branch employees from where they can get updated
information of new products & services launched by UBL.
Divide equal work to employees because in this branch, some employees have a lot of
work and some have few.
Conclusion
United Bank Limited has become the largest private bank in the country. This bank has made
such a great progress, since its establishment that now there are 1200 branches working all over
the country. There are about 112 correspondent banks in 31 countries of the world. Its capital
and reserves level are increasing day-by-day.
UBL has declared the BEST BANK in 2016 at First Pakistan Banking Awards.
It has very competent and educated staff. They have clearly defined values and norms and they
strictly practice their norms and values. The Bank is making its own (positive) contribution to
the service culture of the banking system as a whole. Service excellence is, In fact, one of the
cornerstones of the United Bank culture. Their main objective is to provide professional,
personalized and efficient service to the clients at all the times. They are maintaining the
competitive edge by expanding the scope of operations, use of modern computers and
telecommunication technologies.
They are offering many attractive schemes to their clients.
The bank has fully computerized banking system, due to which they have an edge over the
competitors. The other important thing is their fast service.
