National Bank of Pakistan advertised various positions (TO, GBO, AFO, and CFO) in different

newspaper dated 11 June, 2017 through IBP (Institute of Bankers Pakistan). It contains 4
categories Trainee Officer OG-2(300 positions) General Banking Officer OG-3(300 positions)
Cash Banking Officer OG-3(500) positions) and Agriculture Banking Officer OG-3(150
positions). Approximately 46,116 candidates applied for 1250 posts from all over Pakistan by
submitting fee of RS.400 per post. Nearly 18.4 million were collected from candidates.
Numbers of candidates qualified for interview are (MTO 1,735) for (GBO, 1,734) for (CBO
2,151) and (780 for AFO). TO result announced on 31 January 2018 and 300 candidates were
selected from all across the country. The remaining GBO, AFO, CBO post were on hold due to
different reasons i.e. union stay, election commission banned jobs because of election. Election
commission withdraw their order in August after election and stay went off on the remaining
categories on May 2017. Till the date NBP remain in silence about other posts but the question
arises that how the remaining GBOs, AFOs and CBOs will equally be justified with TOs because
they were on the same boat. Everyone has dreamed about this job with so many ambitions
and dream of that moment of holding the letter of appointment in their hands but all went in
vain. Almost 2 years passed but no response from the management of one of the most top
Institution of Pakistan. Each aspirant is being mentally tortured by the absence of the result as
they waiting from 18 months and no one give specific detail about process of recruitment.
Therefore, I request on the behalf of the all aspirants to Honourable Prime Minister Imran
Khan, NBP President Arif Usmani and the concern Management HR to take notice of it and the
justice should be provide to all the awaiting candidates and the result should be announce in
days.
