Crafted Souls is an ecommerce business selling, an artistic Madhubani(Bihar), Soharai,


Jadupatai & kohbar(Jharkhand) painted Apparel products and accessories.

MISSION : To revive art and empower rural artisans and a profit business with a social
mission.
Crafted Souls provide customers with high quality genuine painting art on men’s and
women’wear.

Crafted Souls  strives to preserve and promote the traditional


themes of paintings

• Helps artists evolve into cultural entrepreneurs by providing them with a proper
training and ecommerce platform to show case their work.

• Not only help artisans but also help customers to discover and buy products which
they otherwise are not able to do today.

• Provide education and healthcare facilities to the unprivileged children in the rural
areas. And provide bags and shoes to a child.

who are Fashion followers from the upper and middle classes .

primally focus on 18-35 years of age group.

• Geographic segmentation – Currently it has major focus in urban sectors of India,

• Customizable: Customers can choose design ( color, pattern) from the website that to be
added to their t-shirts. But this feature is limited to the t-shirts.

• Reasonable prices - They have zero spent on advertisement, and the strategy to attract
customers is through active blogger community, events and heavy usage of social media
platforms. This ensure to deliver product at reasonable prices to the customers .

Crafted Soul’s Product Focuses On One for One.

• Crafted Soul Shoes : With a every purchase of a pair of soul, We’ll provide a
pair of shoes to child(going to school) in a need.

• 2. Crafted Soul Bag : With a every purchase of a bag, We’ll provide a bag to child,
going to school, in a need.

• 3. Crafted Soul Apparel Products: 10 % of the profit on the apparel products,


We’ll provide unprivileged with the cloths, healthcare facilities & educations. Any
Artisan working in Crafted souls and belonging to an underprivileged section of the
society can borrow microfinance from the organization.

Incentives For New Industry Given By Bihar Govt.

Pre-Production Incentives:
• Stamp duty and Registration fee: Authority will enjoy the full (100%) exemption in
stamp duty and registration fee in lease / sale / transfer.

Post – Production Incentives:


▪ Project-Report Incentive:
• Reimbursement of the cost incurred in the project report preparation by the
industrial units at the rate of 50 percent subject to a maximum of US $ 1667 (INR
75,000) will be made available provided;
• 50% incentive for Micro / Small units on investment in Land / Shed with maximum
ceiling of 15 lacs.
• 75% on expenditure incurred on obtaining Certificate of ISO or equivalent.
• New Industrial Units will get 100% Re-Imbursement of electricity duty for 7 years
• New Industrial Units will get 100% exemption in land conversion charges

Steps Towards Social Entrepreneurship
Crafted Soul Believes In Giving Back To The Society

Crafted soul gives 10% of its business profit to the unprivileged children
in the rural areas. Providing them with the cloths, healthcare facilities &
educations.

The children of today will make the India of tomorrow.

▪ Two years basic development course in Madhubani art form.
Microfinance – Making Indian Artisan Self Reliant  

• Any Artisan working in Crafted souls and belonging to an underprivileged section of the
society can borrow microfinance from the organization. They can make use of the funds
for being financially independent and to improvise their livelihood.
• Microfinance also intends to help Artisans in securing good medical treatment when
they have health issues.
• The interested rate is low as 5 % as comparative to Banks in India. And microfinance is
flexible, it understands the issue of artisans. There is no time period constrains for the
back payment.
• If Artisan can not pay back the amount, then it goes under the social services account
of the organization.
