Christmas Party & Testimonial Program
Christmas Party & Testimonial Program
Jayson: You are right Kimmy. Surely, we all have our own favorite teachers
for various reasons.
[ad lib - Talk about your favorite teachers but don’t mention names.]
Kimmy: We gather here today to celebrate the success of our new teachers --
the people who will be the ones behind the success of the future generation.
Jayson: You know what Kimmy. I am a little bit envy because I really want to
graduate now and teach young children.
Kimmy: Worry not, Jayson. Kalma lang! Just enjoy your college life. Enjoy
roaming around the college just to see your crushES. Just kidding!
Jayson: I-push mo lang ‘yan, Kimmy! You’re quite right. But we all aim to be
real teachers, admit it.
Kimmy: Yes, indeed. So without further ado, let us start the celebration with
an Opening Prayer by the BEEd Singers. May we all stand?
Jayson: And after which, may we remain standing for the Philippine National
Anthem.
Kimmy: Today, we have someone who serves as our real ate in the
department. She is a very responsible student, as well. Let us all welcome,
Sonia Acidera, Vice President of DFTA, for her Words of Welcome.
Jayson: Thank you so much for those inspiring words. So, let us now start the
fun!
Jayson: Tama ka, Kimmy. We have to be good in singing, dancing, and many
more. And to prove that the future educators of DCCP are clear
manifestations of being jacks of all trades, we’re going to have Christmas
Carol Competition!

Jayson: Let us now start the competition with…
[Competition proper]
Kimmy: There you have them. Indeed, DCCPians are really talented.
Kimmy: Now, may we have Carmela Batinga, the President of BEED III-A, to
introduce to us our Guest of Honor and Speaker.
[Introduction]
Jayson: Thank you so much, sir. That was really inspiring. [Cite some
quotations from the speaker’s speech]
Jayson: [answer]
[Presentation]
[ad lib]
Kimmy: May we all hear some words from the 2013 LET Passers of Data
Center College of the Philippines - Laoag City.
Jayson: Well, I have to listen attentively as I could get some tips on how to
pass the LET. Talagang sinigurado ko na na ga-gradweyt ako
Kimmy: Tama ka, kuya Jayson. So let us now listen to the testimonial
speeches.
Kimmy: So ano naman ang favorite tip mo from their speeches, kuya Jayson?
Jayson: [answer]
I know you are still craving for more action, folks! So let us now continue
having fun, fun, FUN! We have just witnessed a while back how talented
DCCPians are when it comes to singing. But indeed, we are not just confined
to the musical intelligence. We also have the so-called bodily-kinesthetic
intelligence.

Jayson: Wow. Nosebleed ako diyan, Kimmy. Kung maka-Howard Gardner,
wagas! But, yes, you’re right as each section will showcase their dancing
prowess in the Christmas Dance Craze Contest!
[competition proper]
Jayson: I was absolutely stunned by their moves! How I wish I could dance
like them.
Kimmy: Alright. So, may we have the ever dynamic, energetic, and handsome
Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Education Department,
Dr. Vicente A. Bonoan, for his Christmas Message, sir.
[speech]
Jayson: Thank you so much sir for your inspiring words. And now let us also
listen to our Head for Student Affairs, Prof. Efren V. Valdez, for his Words of
Challenge.
[speech]
Kimmy: Last December 11, a young beauty queen has been crowned Miss
DCCP Palaro 2013. Indeed, she is an epitome of beauty and brains as she
dazzled the judges and, thus, earning her the most coveted crown.
Both: Ladies and gentlemen, 2013’s Miss DCCP Palaro, our very own Janine
De Guzman.
[speech]
Jayson: Thank you so much, Janine. We are really proud of you. You are
indeed a proof that BEEd Department is one of the best. It really takes more
than just beauty to be a queen.
Kimmy: Yes, kuya Jayson. You need to serve as inspiration to many. Not just
that, you have to serve as role model. Well, it’s pretty difficult to be a beauty
queen because all people get their eyes glued to her every step.
Jayson: And now, let us witness the awarding of certificates to the 2013 LET
Passers.

[awarding]
Kimmy: We now come to the moment we’ve been waiting for. Who among the
different competing teams were able to capture the vote of the judges?
[ad lib - Ask the audience on who their personal bets are.]
Kimmy: And of course to all the contestants because you really represented
your respective sections very well.
Jayson: May we have Miss Hazel Ramirez, the Secretary of DFTA, for her
Closing Remarks.
[Speech]
Jayson: The feeling is mutual, Kimmy. ‘Wag na nating patagalin. This has
been Jayson.
