Simple Present in affirmative form:

 Time expressions used with the simple present: Every


hour/day/week/month/etc.,
 Frequency adverbs: usually, always, never, sometimes, often, etc.
 Simple Present is used to talk about:

Affirmative Form: Subject + verb in base form + rest.

 We form the 3rd person of singular in the affirmative by adding –S or -ES to


the main verb.
 Spelling rules (3rd person of singular).
 Most verbs take -S in the 3rd person in singular.
