Motor Trader Magazine is the motoring guide in Malaysia published by PROTO


Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.

Started by British entrepreneur Sir John Madejski in 1998, following the sale of his
Auto Trader classifieds magazine in the UK, Motor Trader magazine employs a similar
layout to Auto Trader: cars are broken down into colour-coded sections according to car
segments. In 2011, Sir John Madejski sold Motor Trader magazine and the company MTM
Multimedia SdnBhd to Japanese conglomerate, PROTO Corporation. The company MTM
Multimedia SdnBhd became PROTO Malaysia SdnBhd in March 2012.

Motor Trader magazine has just entered its 12th year in Malaysia. With a printed
circulation of 35,000 copies weekly, the magazine can be found at all newsstands,
convenience stores, book stores, supermarkets and petrol stations nationwide. The
distribution also applies to Bike Trader which has a circulation of 15,000 copies per week.

MTM Multimedia SdnBhd is a publishing house that owns automotive magazines,


Motor Trader, Bike Trader and Autocar. Motor Trader and Bike Trader are the only weekly
classified magazines that hit the news stands every Thursday (Motor Trader) and Friday
(Bike Trader).

Motor Trader Magazine's website lists over 41,000 cars, updated in real time. Motor
Trader Magazine and its website are viewed as "go-to" sources of information about cars,
both new and used, in Malaysia. Motor Trader website was described as "one of the most
popular review and classified sites" in the automotive category in Malaysia by Marketing
Magazinebased on the results of a study made by Effective Measure, the market research
analysts for online media in September 2013.

Since 2012, Motor Trader has been the content provider for the Yahoo! Malaysia
Autos page.

Motor Trader Magazine won Advertising & Marketing's Motor Vehicle Magazine of
the Year in 2011 and 2013 that is subscribed by advertising agencies and top marketers in the
country.
