ABSTRACT

As the digital world ascend and progress, an increasing number of users like to
share their files like pictures and documents via internet. This study gives information
about the preference of professional workers between Facebook Messenger and Email
as file transferring tool in the workspace. The researcher made a survey to know the
preference of professional workers of Qualfon and Concentrix. This study has 50
professional workers as respondents.

The result is workers use email in the workspace to maintain the relevance of the
platform and to maintain the professionalism in the workspace. Facebook Messenger has
an overall percentage of 47.96% while Email has an overall percentage of 52.04%. Email
is still a great file transferring tool in the workplace. In the other hand, Facebook
messenger has the capability of having straightforward interface and the convenience.
According to the workers they like to use email because Email can send large size of
document, maintain the professionalism and Email is more acceptable and to present in
a proper way to send a file to a company. Technology is now very integrated in business
industry. It is used for several purposes. The two platforms will be a great help to the
business industry.
