    Coverage for a child diagnosed with the covered illness

    List of Covered Child Illness Coverage


    1) Severe Asthma 100% of the Child Guard Insured
    2) Leukaemia Amount is payable
    3) Insulin-dependent Diabetes Mellitus
    4) Rheumatic fever with valvular impairment
    5) Kawasaki Disease with heart complications
    6) Severe juvenile rheumatoid arthritis
    7) Glomerulonephritis with Nephrotic Syndrome
    8) Severe epilepsy
    9) Intellectual Impairment due to illnesses or accident
    Hospitalisation in ICU / HDU Due To Premature Birth 0.3% of the Child Guard Insured
    Amount is payable per day, subject
    to a maximum of thirty (30) days
    Incubation Immediately Following Birth 0.1% of the Child Guard Insured
    Amount is payable per day, subject
    to a maximum of sixty (60) days

    The payment made for ICU/HDU due to premature birth or incubation immediately following birth
    benefit is only payable for births in Hospitals in Singapore or Malaysia and will reduce the Rider
    Insured Amount by a sum equal to the payment made under these benefits. The remaining
    amount will then be paid upon diagnosis of any Child Illness, if any.
