Good isn’t Enough

In “To all the Colleges that Rejected me”, author Suzy Lee Weiss talks about how she tried to do

all the right things to get into top college but that still wasn’t enough to get her into the school

she wanted. She sarcastically believes she was not diverse enough, that the school she wanted to

get into saw her as just another upper-class white girl. She felt like she deserved more of a

chance than she was offered, and is angry and bitter about the college admission process.
