Madame;
I have the honor to file COMPLAINT of HARASSMENT against the person of a
certain Hadji Abdullah Adil and Abu Hafz, all residents of 1st Road, SPDA-Semba, Datu
Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.
NATURE OF COMPLAINT
That this complaint stemmed from the following circumstances:
l. That my son SAMIR AYUNAN and his wife AISA A. PASAWILAN decided to end up
their relationship as husband and wife by formal divorce due to their frequent
misunderstanding;
2. That the marriage of Samir and Aisa was solemnized in accordance with the Muslim
rights and tradition;
3. That as agreed upon by both parties, the DOWRY shall be Php 30,000.00 which
represents the “MAHAR” and Php3, 000.00 for the “KAWA”;
4. That out of the aforesaid amount, I was able to put up an advance of Php 13,000.00
right in time of the negotiation for the wedding ceremony;
5. That the balance of Php 20, 000.00 of the “MAHAR” will be given on February 23,
2019 (copy of the receipt is hereto attached MARKED as ANNEX “A”);
6. That sometimes in January 2019, my son Samir started complaining about the
suspicious behavior of her wife Aisa as he (Samir) frequently noticed that she (Aisa) was
always busy with her cellphone texting and talking to someone ;
7. That on January 8, 2019, my son Samir lost control of his temper and forcibly took
possession of the cellphone from Aisa which triggered the quarrel between the two (Samir
and Aisa) ;
8. That my son Samir began scanning the cellphone of Aisa particularly at the “INBOX
MESSAGEs” to find out what is behind the secret activity of his wife Aisa;
9. That my son Samir was surprised and remained speechless for some moments when
he learned about the contents of the cellphone of Aisa after scanning;
10. That what he (Samir) discovered was his wife (Aisa) having an affair with another
man basing on the text messages found in the INBOX of the cellphone of Aisa , such as
: “Ingat kain ka na wag magpapagutom” , “Ingat lagi.. mamahalin pa kita, ok…love you,
ingat.” etc.;
11. That because the matter of having an affair with someone other than your husband
or wife is a serious offense , against the Islam laws, customs and tradition as a muslim, I
brought this matter to the elders of AISA for any possible solution to prevent further
misunderstanding between the two (Samir and Aisa);
12. That instead of helping me settle the problem, they instead demand for the immediate
payment of my balance of Php20,000.00 from the dowry which is actually due on February
23, 2019 as shown in the attached receipt hereof ;
13. That according to Hadji Abdullah Adil, unless the aforesaid balance is paid they will
not entertain my complaint pertaining to the misbehavior of their daughter Aisa;
14. That further, he (Abdullah Adil) threatened to harm me and my family if I will not
comply with his demand and conditions;
15. That I felt completely embarrassed with his words and feared at the same time that
he ( Hadji Abdullah Adil) will really do as he threatened me and I decided to distance from
them to avoid further trouble ;
16. That in order to find another solution to the problem, I personally talked to the father
of Aisa in the person of H. ZAINAL PASAWILAN and we discussed fully the foregoing
issue involving the couple Samir and Aisa until we finally arrived at giving our consent to
their divorce to save the reputation of our family and their family as well (copy of the
agreement duly signed by us parents, Samir and Aisa, and the witnesess). Likewise, the
honorable Brgy. Chairman office is furnished with a copy of this agreement (See “ANNEX
B”);

17. That in view of the preceding paragraph (16) , Hadji Abdullah Adil started with his
HARASSMENT to me and my family by sending verbal threats and summons allegedly
coming from the SHARIAH COURT (copies are hereto attached ANNEX C and D);

18. That I verified all these alleged summons from the SHARIAH COURT at the BARM
compound and I was told, it is not their making and that no case so far is filed against
me at the Shariah court;

19. That in view of the foregoing facts, I am filing this COMPLAINT OF HARASSMENT
against HADJI ABDULAH ADIL and ABU HAFZ, his accomplice in doing unjust acts of
threats against me and my family;

20. That finally. I further demand for the refund of all my expenses for the wedding of
Samir and Aisa, including damages for the embarrassment my entire family suffered
caused by the immoral act of their daughter AISA A. PASAWILAN.

I PRAY that this matter be given preferential attention in the interest of fairness
and justice.
