Dear Engr. Bien:

As a requirement in our subject Systems Analysis and Design (SAD), the

Accountancy students are required to design/develop a system. The objective is to allow
the students to experience analyzing and/or designing a live system for an outside client.
It also aims to strike a balance between the theoretical and applied aspect of a systems
analysis, present state-of-the-art system procedure and methodologies.

I have decided to design/develop a system entitled RESERVATION SYSTEM. In

this regard, I have chosen your good company to be our client. May I, therefore, request
of your good office to grant me a permission to study the company’s existing AIRLINE
RESERVATION SYSTEM in order to find better, more practical, and more efficient means
of processing billing data. The result of such investigative study will be utilized to design
and/or develop an online-based RESERVATION SYSTEM as a course-requirement.

Furthermore, should your company restrict me from accessing confidential matters

and entering restricted areas, I will comply and further submit ourselves to the
rules/regulations and prescribed norms of conduct.
