Indian contemporary painting

Contemporary art is the art of the art of today.produced in the 20th century or 21st century.
Contemporary artists work in a globally influenced, culturally diverse,and technologically
advancing world.There art is dynamic combination of materials, method, concept and
subjects that continue the challengeing of boundaries that was already underway in 20th
century. Diverse and eclectic contemporary art is a whole is distinguished by the very lack
of a uniform, organising principal , ideology.contemporary art provides an opportunity to
reflect on contemporary society and issues relevant to ourselves and the world around
us.contemporary art refers to any art works that was made since 1970, and it usually refers
to artist who are still producing work.
Contemporary art is part of cultural diologue that concers large frame work such as
personal cultural indentiity, family, community,and nationality.comporary art is much an
experiment processes it is type of art.
Contemporary art began with the British rule of india. Raja Ravi Varma, Abanindra
bath Tagore, Rabindranath Tagore, Amrita Shergil, jamini Roy, were the pioneer s of the
lndian contemporary art.
About
Abhijit Banerjee born in 17 September 1962, at santiniketan. He considered as one of the
most versatile artist. He born artist got inspiration from his father Late Mukti Banerjee an
artists who painted in Indian style and Contemporary of Ramananda Bandyopadhyay,
Krishna Reddy and world famous director Satyajit Roy.Late Mukti Banerjee another
well-known artist of Indian style.When he was student, he had opportunity to learn from
amazing teacher's like Bikash Bhattacharjee, K.G Subramaniam,(Mani Da), lsha
Mohammad, Badan Da, Ganesh Halui, Niranjan Pradhan and so on. Abhijit Banerjee
artwork's are an exception combination of indian and Western style.which are influenced
by both Indian and Western style of painting. His experiment with rich colors, shades,
textures, and likes to different subject of mythological figure in beautiful manner.painting
of religious figures are great instance to prove his passion of art. He described worst
events of life through his art in an artistic and majestic way. His creativity has brought
him many accolades and awards His paintings are available for sale and are recognized
across the globe.He takes account of vibrant colors and intriguing themes to make his
painting interesting. In general. One can admire the beauty of nature.He also started an
institute BICHlTA ART SCHOOL. to impart art education to his students which tried to be
great success for him.Many art work he done. Name of the artwork Mother and child,
