A Brand New Man

Date: January 10, 2017Author: saintofchrist0 Comments

“Therefore if any person is [engrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a

new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed
away. Behold the fresh and new has come”. – 2 Corinthians 5:17 (Amplified Version)
The Greek rendering of the phrase “Passed away” in the scripture above means “gone
out of existence”. So as a new creation you’re a brand new man; not one who has merely
forgiven his trespasses. The Bible says, “…we are buried with him (Christ) by baptism
into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father,
even so we also should walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4). When you were born
again, your human spirit was recreated. Your history began that day; so as far as God is
concerned, you never existed hitherto.
Realize that you didn’t merely turn over a new leaf when you were born again; you were
recreated as a new species. You may still look the same way you did before you received
Christ; as a matter of fact, your physical appearance remains the same; but your spirit is
renewed! It’s a brand new life; that’s why the Bible says, “All things have become new!”
Sickness, poverty, failure and death are not a part of the new life in Christ. Such things as
ancestral curses and generational sickness ceased to be a part of your life because you
were severed from your earthly affinity when you wereborn again. Your life history
began on the day you accepted Christ and made Him Lord of your life.

Please click here if you aren’t yet born again. God bless you.

Proclamation of Faith

I’m a new creation in Christ Jesus, created for glory, and for beauty! My life’s history
begins with God for I was crucified with Christ and arose with Him a brand new man;
one without a past. The life in my body is the divine life of God which has supplanted the
natural human life! Praise God.

You’re the Glory of God

Date: January 6, 2017Author: saintofchrist0 Comments

“And the glory which thou gavest me I HAVE GIVEN THEM; that they may be one,
even as we are one.” – John 17:20
The Bible says Jesus is the brightness of God’s glory and express image of His person
(Hebrews 1:3). Going further, 1 John 4:17 says “As He is, so are we in this
world.” Meaning that as Jesus is the expression of God’s glory; you also are the
expression of God’s glory. Now you can understand the reason Jesus said in the opening
scripture “the glory which thou gavest me I have given them…”
As Christians, we’re the fruit of Christ’s suffering. The Bible talks about the sufferings
of Christ, and the glory that should be revealed (1 Peter 1:11); we’re that glory; we’re
His trophies. We’re the glory Jesus saw that made Him endure the cross and despise the
shame (Hebrews 12:2). You’re the glory of God. No wonder the Bible declares that
glorious things are spoken of you (Psalm 87:3). Not only have you been brought into the
glory of God, you’re the glory of God.
This is not just to excite you, but also to let you know who you are as a child of God.
You’ve been called into the life of glory! The glory is yours. See yourself in the glory;
see yourself before the glory; see yourself walking in the glory; see yourself carrying the
glory; see yourself as the glory!

The Bible says, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the
Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the
Lord” (2 Corinthians 3:18). The Spirit of God is letting you know that the Word of God
is your mirror. As you study the Word, you’re looking at yourself in the mirror of God,
and the image of you that you see is actually the glory of God, meaning that your name is
‘the glory of God’. What a confession; to get to know and declare that you’re the glory of
God! It’ll put springs in your steps.
You’re the glory of God; that’s why you can’t be defeated nor destroyed! Keep looking at
the mirror of God and see who you really are. The Bible says the more you look at the
glory in the mirror of God, the more you’re transfigured (2 Corinthians 3:18). You
become more like the image of the glory that you see in the mirror. Praise God.

So stop asking God for His glory, because you are His glory! That’s why so many never
received the answer of that kind of prayer, because they ask amiss (James 4:3); what you
need do is to show others His glory through you.

You’re Holy and Sanctified

Date: January 6, 2017Author: saintofchrist0 Comments

“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we
should be holy and without blame before him in love”.– Ephesians 1:4
If you’re born again, the Bible describes you as “holy”. This is too big for religious mind
to accept, because they think “holiness” means “sinlessness”, but that’s not true. Holiness
has nothing to do with what you do. The presence of God in your life is what makes you
holy. The Bible tells us that God stepped on Mount Sinai, and it became “Holy
Mountain”. The mountain didn’t do anything right or wrong to become holy. The
presence of God consecrated it and made it holy.
Thus, holiness is actually positional; you’re holy because God’s presence is upon you and
in you (Colossians 1:27; 1 Corinthians 3:16…). Sanctification on the other hand, means
you’ve been chosen by God and separated from the world. It means you’ve been set apart
for God’s sacred use. You’re set apart from sin, sickness, poverty and death, unto the life
of success, victory, prosperity and divine health. That’s why the Bible says, “A thousand
shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near
you” (Psalm 91:7 NKJV). You’ve been set apart for the good life.
“What if I do something wrong; am I still holy and sanctified?” you might want to ask.
Emphatically yes. When you do something wrong and ask God to forgive you, it doesn’t
change who you are. He forgives you, and as far as He’s concerned, you’re as one who
never did anything wrong. If you’re born again, you’re holy and sanctified. This is what it
means to be a “saint”. According to the Bible, saints are not sinless or good people who
have died and gone to heaven, but those who through the Spirit, have been consecrated
by God unto salvation.
See yourself the way God sees you, and call yourself what He’s called you! You’re a
holy and sanctified child of God (1 Peter 2:9), not because of your work, but by God’s
choice! (Ephesians 2:8-9). It’s time to put away the “self-righteous consciousness”; if
your self-righteousness could please God, He wouldn’t have sent Jesus to die in your
place. There are some Christians who are rejecting what Jesus has done for them
unknowingly. Every time you think your good behaviors or deeds are what make God
love you or pleased with you, you are wrong!

Romans 5:8 says, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us.” …While we “WERE” yet sinners; this lets you know that,
as a born again child of God, you are no longer a sinner but a holy and sanctified child of
God (Galatians 2:16-21). 1 John 3:9 says, “Whosoever is born of God[born
again] DOTH NOT COMMIT SIN; FOR HIS SEED [Word – 1 Peter 1:23; Luke
8:11] REMAINETH IN HIM: and HE CANNOT SIN,BECAUSE HE IS BORN OF
GOD.”

Perfect And Complete In Christ!
Date: January 24, 2016Author: saintofchrist1 Comment

I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever: nothing can be put to it, nor any
thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him – Ecclesiastes
3:14
Whatever God does is perfect and eternal. When He made you, He made you perfect and
it wasn’t part of His plan for your kidneys, heart, lungs or any other organ in your body to
fail. He made you perfect and complete, with nothing missing. No wonder the Word says
you’re complete in Him (Colossians 2:10).

Genesis 1:31 says, “And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very
good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” Notice, it doesn’t say
everything that He had made was partially good; no! They were very good; and you’re
the cream, the best and most sublime, of all that He created. He’s the only One who can
tell us about His creation, and we need to have the right mindset about who we are and
our heritage in Christ. If He has said He made you perfect and complete, then that’s it!
Believe it, confess it, and live accordingly.
Colossians 4:12 tells us something beautiful; it says, “Epaphras, who is one of you, a
servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye
may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.”Epaphras was here interceding
for the brethren and desired for them to stand perfect and complete. The
word, “perfect”is translated from the Greek “teleios”; it actually means “maturity,” “a
completeness”; that is, being brought to full age. While the word, “complete” in that
same verse, is “pleroo” (Greek), meaning “to be full,” and in need of nothing.
Thus, the Spirit’s prayer for the Church, through
Epaphras, is for us to become mature in the things of God,
and be full in such a way as to require nothing; it’s for us
to be whole, perfect, and sound. That’s the way Jesus was;
He was perfect and entire, wanting nothing. What a life!
This is God’s dream for you; live accordingly.

you.

CONFESSION (Faith’s Proclamation)

I know who I am; I’m the seed of Abraham! The world

belongs to me. I reign and rule over circumstances by the
power of the greater One who lives in me! He lives in my
spirit, in my soul, and in my body! No failure for me, and no
defeat on my path; I’m moving from glory to glory!
Halleluiah!

Sanctified By The Truth

Date: May 25, 2016Author: saintofchrist2 Comments

Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the
Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and
peace, be multiplied – 1 Peter 1:2
Having given your heart to the Lord to be born again, there’s the sanctification of the
Spirit, where the Spirit of God uses the Word of God to take the “dirt” out of your life.
He cleanses your mind, because even though your spirit is born again and alive to God,
your mind still needs to be renewed: “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2).
If your mind isn’t renewed and sanctified by God’s truth it could occasionally pick up the
wrong stuff and act them out. This is because the carnal pictures, images, words, ideas,
and imaginations that were in your mind before you were born again, don’t automatically
leave your mind! You’d have to replace them with God’s holy thoughts, His holy words,
and the manifestation of His Kingdom. His Word is the divine cleanser. Jesus said in
John 15:3, “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.” Then
in John 17:17 He said, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”
God’s Word displaces unrighteousness from a man’s heart and replaces it with God’s
righteousness. It wipes out fear and replaces it with faith. Colossians 3:16 tells us, “Let
the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom….” The desires to do something
wrong; that desire to make the wrong choice, go in the way of the world and act like you
used to act before you were born again; only the Word of God can eject it and get rid of
it. Therefore, cleanse yourself through the Word, and stay pure in Him today, and always.
PLEASE CLICK HERE IF YOU AREN’T YET BORN AGAIN. God bless you.

Prayer

Dear Father, I thank you for the sanctification of my spirit through the ministry of the
Holy Spirit. My focus is on your Word and as I give it my attention, the Word cleanses
and sanctifies my spirit, getting rid of everything that’s inconsistent with your perfect
will, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Born Victorious
Date: November 30, 2015Author: saintofchrist1 Comment

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that
overcometh the world, even our faith – 1 John 5:4
There’s a higher life in Christ—a spiritual life to which we’ve been called, as Christians.
We’re not ordinary. We were made to look like God, and to function like Him. We’ve
been built with possibilities within our system. We‘re not in this world as victims; we
were born victorious.

In Genesis, when God made man, the Bible says He gave him dominion over all things
(Genesis 1:28). He gave us a life that’s superior, not only to the circumstances of life and
the forces of nature, but also to spiritual beings of evil—Satan and his cohorts. Why then
do some Christians still live as ordinary men, instead of living victoriously every day?
The reason is their ignorance of the Word: “They know not, neither will they
understand; they walk on in darkness….I have said, ye are gods; and all of you are
children of the most High” (Psalm 82:5-6).
Thanks be unto God. Jesus said, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make
you free” (John 8:32). The truth is, now that you’re born again, now that you’re in Christ,
you’re a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). Whereas you were defeated and lived as a
victim before you came to Christ, all that is history now. Today, with Christ alive in you,
nothing can put you down; you’re a victor for life!
It doesn’t matter what your experience in life has been; it doesn’t matter how long you
might have suffered or been in darkness; light has come to you now. Truth has been
unveiled: the truth about what God has done for you, in you, and with you in Christ Jesus.
Get to know who you are in Him.

Study, meditate on, and keep proclaiming, the Word, because the Word of God unveils
our victorious life in Christ. You were born a victor. You were born to have dominion.
You were born to live the superior life, and live triumphantly every day.

Please click here if you aren’t yet born again. God bless you.

Confession (Faith’s Proclamation)

Dear Father, I thank you for giving me a life that’s superior to Satan, the
circumstances of life, the economic conditions of this world and other problems that
ruin people’s lives. I was born to have dominion, and to live a superior life, because the
greater One lives in me. I’m a victor in Christ Jesus, now and always. Halleluiah!

Now Are We The Sons Of God!

Date: November 10, 2015Author: saintofchrist4 Comments

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but
we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he
is – 1 John 3:2
How inspiring this is! The Word says, “Now are we the sons of God.” This is the reality.
This scripture is already fulfilled in you if you’re born again; it’s not something that’s
going to happen after the rapture of the Church or when we get to heaven; no! NOW are
we the sons of God; it’s a “present truth” for you to walk in.
Let’s review the entire verse: “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet
appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him;
for we shall see him as he is.” The underlined portion lets us know that though
outwardly, we may not look that way, we know inside us that we have the same life and
nature with Him; we have the same Spirit with Him. Glory to God! What does this tell
you?
It shows that as a child of God, as an associate of the God-kind, there’s really nothing
more you need God to do in you or for you, because you have Christ in you. He already
made you complete in Christ (Colossians 2:10); that means you’ve been perfected;
nothing needs to be “added” to you, and nothing needs to be taken out. You’re complete
in Him; you were born that way when you were born again.
It’s like in natural birth: when a woman gives birth to a child, that child is hundred
percent human; that is, he’s perfectly and completely human! The child doesn’t grow in
humanity, for he’s born that way. In the same vein, when we were born again, we became
sons and daughters of God; we were complete and perfected in righteousness and
holiness. You’re as righteous and as holy as He is, because you share His divinity (2Peter
1:4). He’s your life (Colossians 3:3-4), your call and your heritage. As He is, so are you
in this world (1 John 4:17). You’re the effulgence of His glory, and the express image of
His person. Therefore, walk in righteousness and holiness according to your true nature
in Christ.

A Burning and a Shining Light!

Date: November 30, 2016Author: saintofchrist0 Comments

That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst
of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world –
Philippians 2:15
In John 5:35, the Lord Jesus points out something beautiful in the character of John the
Baptist: “He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to
rejoice in his light.” What a description; coming from the lips of the Master Himself!
Not every light is a burning and a shining light. Some are cool and dull, but Jesus gave
witness that John was a burning and a shining light. And because John was a burning and
a shining light, other people rejoiced in his light, so they could see with it. Do you know
you can have the Lord describe you this way, within the context of your service to Him?
Sure! Make up your mind to be not just a light, for you’re already the light of the world.
Rather, be a burning and a shining light.

The way to burn and shine is by being effective in the things the Lord has called you to
do. The Bible says “Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the
Lord” (Romans 12:11). To be a burning and a shining light means you’re fervent, agile
and enthusiastic about spiritual things. From sun up to sun down, the Gospel is
paramount on your mind. It’s impossible for you to keep quiet; all you think and talk
about is world evangelism. It brings to mind the words of the Prophet Jeremiah: “But his
word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with
forbearing, and I could not stay” (Jeremiah 20:9).
When you’re a burning and a shining light, every encounter with you by those who don’t
know Christ is an unforgettable moment with divinity. You’re afire with the Gospel
twenty-four hours a day; you’re perpetually high on the Holy Ghost. This is how God
expects you to live, as one who’s fervent in soul-winning and prayer for lost souls!

As a burning and a shining light, you seek to touch everyone with the power of God.
When there’s a need in the ministry, you’re there to give of your time, efforts and
resources. This is how to burn and shine for the Lord. Before long, others will come and
rejoice in your light; they’ll hear your inspiring testimonies and be stirred to pray and
make impact just like you.

Proclamation of Faith

Dear Father, thank you for the ministry of your Word in my life. The Word is like a
burning fire shut up in my bones. I can’t hold it back; I’ll promote and publish it
everywhere with fervency until it engulfs my world. I’m a burning and a shining light and
many are coming to bask in the brightness of my light, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Truth about Child-baptism!

Date: November 30, 2016Author: saintofchrist0 Comments
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from
it – Proverbs 22:6
Many people have different thoughts about infant baptism. There’re those who argue it’s
wrong to baptize a child because they say the child has to grow up first to the age when
he or she can understand and believe the Gospel. This group insists that one must first
believe to be baptized. Well, none of us was there when Jesus died, but we believed and
got saved. We believed in the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ in
retrospect, looking back at the Cross.

In much the same way, if you baptize a child and the child grows up, and is taught the
significance of baptism; he can believe it too. There’s nothing wrong with child-baptism.
The Bible says in 1Corintians 7:14: “For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the
wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children
unclean; but now are they holy.” What this means is that the children of the believer are
sanctified; they belong to God. But there’s no way they’re going to know this unless
they’re taught. So we need to show them from the Word of God that they’re sanctified
unto God. That way, they’ll know and believe it.
That’s the reason the Bible says “Train up a child in the way that he should go: and
when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). You can go ahead and
baptize your infant children and wards, and set them on course to be trained in the way of
the Lord. Teach them to know from childhood that they belong to the Lord and have been
sanctified unto Him, and that the training and teaching you give them from God’s Word
will not depart from them.

ou Are the Revelation of the Truth

Date: November 7, 2016Author: saintofchrist0 Comments

…the house of God…is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of truth – 1
Timothy 3:15
Jesus is the Word, the truth of God, made flesh. The Bible describes Him as the exact
likeness of His being (Hebrews 1:3). In other words, when He walked the street of
Jerusalem, He was the perfect representation of God’s personality. The truth is still
moving upon the face of the earth today through you and me.

The Bible describes the Church of Jesus Christ as the pillar and ground of truth (1
Timothy 3:15). We’re the expression or representation of the truth for we’re the temples
of the living God (1 Corinthians 6:19). Therefore, we’re responsible for delivering men
and women around the world into their inheritance in Christ Jesus and liberating them
from every form of bondage. We were made to teach, preach and reveal the truth.
For example, when you truly understand who you truly are in Christ, you’ll never
condemn anyone, for the truth will never reject or condemn anyone. You can’t change
people by dwelling on their faults; it’s only the truth that changes a man. The truth
liberates, heals and imparts life. When you realize you’re the custodian of eternal verities,
you’ll never stop preaching the message of salvation to the sinner, for you may be the
only “Jesus” he’ll ever come in contact with.

As a Christian, you are the revelation of the truth of God; you carry in you the solution to
every need in a man’s life. So you see, you have a great responsibility to your world. Just
as John the Baptist said in John 3:30, “He must increase but I must decrease”, let your
dream in life be for people to see Jesus Christ in you. The time is indeed short,
therefore, “…make every minute count” (Ephesians 5:16, CEV); the salvation of many
lives depends on you.

Dear Father, I thank you for revealing your Son in and through me to my world. Guide

kingdom, in Jesus Name. Amen

True Christianity: The Revelation of

Eternal Life
Date: November 7, 2016Author: saintofchrist0 Comments

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that
ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son
of God. – 1 John 5:13
Sometimes, we hear people say that Christianity is one of the greatest religions of the
world. As a result, they refer to one who is a Christian as a religious person. But
Christianity is not a religion. True Christianity, first of all, is the revelation of eternal life.
True Christianity means that an eternal God has taken up His abode in the quarters of a
man’s spirit.
True Christianity is not a way of worship, nor is it a way of serving God. It is the
pulsating life of God in a human person. It is a living revelation with a living God. When
you’re in relationship with someone, that’s not a religion! Someone once said, “I want to
become more religious, so I think I should become a Christian!” No. That’s an out-and-
out misnomer and a complete misunderstanding of who a Christian is. A Christian is one
who is indwelt by divinity.

When you become a Christian, it means eternal life has been imparted into your spirit. It
means you’ve embraced the grace, glory and power of God that dispel darkness, sickness,
poverty, failure and everything the devil brings. It means you’ve embraced the beauty of
divinity. It means you’ve become a partaker of the divine nature – you become a God-
carrying vessel. No wonder the Bible says concerning Christians, “Ye are God’s
temple” (2 Corinthians 6:16). No wonder only those who are born again are truly
Christians (John 3:3-7).
So, when you say you’re a Christian, it means God has fully tabernacle in you! You’ve
become His living headquarters; He looks through your eyes and walk with your legs
because you’ve become His vessel. You’ve become the one in whom God dwells; that’s
true Christianity – God Almighty taking up His abode in the quarters of your heart,
imparting your human spirit with eternal life – His life and nature.

Faith’s Proclamation

I’m a carrier of divine life; I have the life and the nature of God in me because I’m born
again. Therefore, my life is not ordinary. Sickness, disease, infirmities, failure, lack and
everything of darkness are not a part of God’s provision for my life. Hallelujah!
Qualified for the Glory-Life
Date: November 2, 2016Author: saintofchrist0 Comments

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with
him also freely give us all things? – Romans 8:32
Some people, even after they are born again still think they have to do something extra to
attain God’s best for them. They read the portion of Scripture that says, “…all things are
yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21), and automatically conclude in their minds that God isn’t
referring to them. They don’t think they qualify because they still commit sins
sometimes.
Such people have the wrong impression of their true identity in Christ. They’ve fed their
minds with the wrong information. That’s the reason the Bible tells us in Romans
12:2, “Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your
mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God”. In
other words, you have to think thoughts that are consistent with the Word of God.
A born again Christian IS a NEW CREATURE, a BRAND NEW SPECIES of being
that never existed before (2 Corinthians 5:17). He’s not a sinner trying to be righteous;
rather, he’s born into the Kingdom of God as a holy and righteous person. This has
nothing to do with what he did or do but what has been done for him (2 Corinthians 5:21;
Romans 5:17). You’ll never be more righteous than you were the day you were born
again. Trying to please God with your good works is an insult to what Jesus came to do.
He wouldn’t have come if it was possible for your good deeds to please God.

The devil plays with the minds of those who don’t understand this truth and makes them
feel the reason their prayers aren’t answered is because they sinned. That’s not true
(Read this article). God doesn’t withhold any good things from His children (James 1:5);
you were born into His Kingdom as an heir with an inheritance. The whole world belongs
to you because God willed it to you (Romans 4:13; Romans 8:17).
Next time, when you make a request of the father, don’t beg as though you’re a servant
(Galatians 4:7); you’re the father’s heir, and a joint-heir with Christ (Romans 8:17).
Before the foundation of the earth, He called you and separated you unto the glory life!
The Bible says, “Giving thanks unto the Father, which HATH MADE US MEET
(qualified) TO BE PARTAKERS of the inheritance of the saints in light”(Colossians
1:12). He qualified you to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the Kingdom of
light; you’ve been called to live the good life! This isn’t a promise.

Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for
the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation? – Hebrews 1:14 (Amplified Bible)
I’ve heard there are some Christians don’t believe in the ministry of angels. All I can say
is they are missing out on a blessing. If only they would study their bibles they would
discover that angels ministered several times for many of God’s people. But for you to
enjoy their ministry, you have to believe that they are real, even though you may not see
them.

Everybody who is born again has angels and they are always with us to assist us. They
wouldn’t just do whatever you want to do or say whatever they want to say because they
can only function within the boundary of God’s plan. In other words, your angels would
function only when your confession is consistent with the Word. So, for you to put your
angels to work you must be conversant with the Lord’s will for your life. You can only
get such information through the diligent study of your Bible and guidance of the Holy
Spirit.

When you study the life of the Lord Jesus, you’ll discover that He had some remarkable
ministration of angels (Mark 1:13). He gave insight into how He was able to command
such ministry so easily when He said, “…the words that I speak unto you I speak not of
myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works” (John 14:10). He didn’t
do anything or say any word of Himself; everything He did or said was according to the
Word as led by the Holy Spirit.
Angels respond to God’s Word (Psalm 103:20). Therefore, when you do what God wants
you to do, your angels are happy to work with you. If you haven’t aligned your
confession with the Word, your angels wouldn’t be able to do much for you. Learn to
declare God’s Word about your life consistently and get your angels working on your
behalf.

Prayer

Dear Father, I thank you for enlightening my mind on the reality of the ministry of
angels. Help me to act and speak only in harmony with your plans for my life as revealed
in your Word and by your Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Called to Be Free

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to
the flesh, but by love, serve one another. – Galatians 5:13
God has ordained for you to live completely independent of circumstances. You must not
find yourself living in bondage to poverty, sickness, disease, or death, for you are the
redeemed of the Lord. When Jesus died on the cross, He dealt with sin, which is the root
of sickness, poverty, disease and death. He died to make you free, and he who the Son
has set free is FREE INDEED! (John 8:36). The Bible says sin shall not have
dominion over you (Romans 6:14) and that you cannot sin and do not sin because you
are born of His ‘sin-free’ seed [i.e. Word] (1 John 3:9; 1 Peter 1:23; John 1:12-13);
you’ve been called into a life of total freedom; you must remain in that liberty.
There’s no need running around seeking deliverance from sin or from the devil; you’ve
been delivered already (Colossians 1:13). It’s your responsibility not to allow yourself
become entangled by any yoke of bondage. Take advantage of your complete liberty in
Christ Jesus and stay in it. The budget or economy of your country shouldn’t by any
means determine your financial status in life; you’ve been freed from that. You’ve been
freed also from sickness, from that habit, and from that disease; stand up and enjoy your
inheritance now, in Jesus’ Name.

Proclamation of Faith

No more will I ever be subject to any yoke of bondage; for he who the Son of God has set
free is free indeed. I function in that liberty of the Spirit of God all the days of my life, in
Jesus’ Name!

Jesus Is the Name of Godhead

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and
of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost”. –Matthew 28:19
In the Scripture above, the Lord Jesus didn’t say “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the NAMES of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Ghost.”Rather, He said “…baptizing them in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son,
and of the Holy Ghost”; He didn’t pluralize the word “name”, signifying that there’s
only one name for the Father, Son and The Holy Ghost. That name is the name of Jesus.
We can tell that this is a fact from observing how the apostles carried out the Master’s
instruction in Matthew 28:19; they baptized people in the name of Jesus.
The Apostle Paul did the same. When he encountered a group of disciples in Ephesus, he
asked them if they had received the Holy Spirit and they said no. He then preached the
gospel to them and the Bible says, “They were baptized in the name of the Lord
Jesus.” When Peter preached to the people in Acts 2:38, he said, “Repent, and be
baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remissions of sins, and ye
shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:38). The early disciples and apostles of
Jesus Christ never baptized anyone in the “names” of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost;
they baptized them in the “Name” of Jesus.
The Bible says “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a Name
which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things
in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth” (Philippians 2:9-10). If the
Father has declared that the Name of Jesus is higher than every name in the universe, it
means He couldn’t reverse for Himself any other name but the name of Jesus, since that’s
the highest Name in all of heaven and earth. No wonder the Bible declares that it pleased
the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell (Colossians 1:19).
There’s no other name that is higher than the name of Jesus. God has vested all His
authority in that Name. That’s why when you call the name of Jesus, the Father and the
Holy Spirit respond!

Prayer

Dear Father, thank you for the wonderful Name of Jesus, the Name that is above every
other Name! When I call that Name in faith, all of heaven responds, and the power of the
Godhead is manifested. No devil or negative situation can withstand the power of that
Name; I thank you so much for the wonderful privilege and blessing of using and living
in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

Faith Doesn’t Ask “How?”

Date: October 15, 2016Author: saintofchrist0 Comments

But people whose faith makes them acceptable to God will never ask, “Who will go up
to heaven to bring Christ down?” Neither will they ask, “Who will go down into the
world of the dead to raise him to life? – Romans 10:6-7 (Contemporary English Version)
When it comes to walking by faith, you must learn to trust in the Word of God and
believe in its integrity, for the Word never fails. This is the reason you should never
question the veracity of God’s Word or doubt its integrity. Some folks, upon receiving
counsel, instruction or admonition from the Word of God are fond of asking how the
Word they’ve heard will come to pass. That’s not faith, for faith doesn’t ask “how?”!
Rather, faith acts on the Word.

Don’t ask how the miracle you’re expecting is going to happen. Leave the ‘how’ to God.
Stop trying to figure out how your faith will work and produce the money you need.
Don’t ask God how the miracle baby you’re expecting will come! Don’t ask Him how the
healing will take place. Your responsibility is to keep living the Word; be a Word
practitioner. The challenge you’re facing may seem overwhelming, but the Bible lets us
know that through faith you’ve already overcome (1 John 5:4).

God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all you can ever ask or think or imagine.
He is too big to be asked the question “how”? Therefore when He tells you anything, just
believe. That’s all it takes. Jesus said, “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to
him that believeth” (Mark 9:23). When God asked Abraham to offer his only son Isaac
as a sacrifice, he promptly obeyed. He didn’t ask, “O God, how am I going to become the
father of many nations if I offer my only son as a sacrifice?” He left that to the Lord.
That’s faith; it doesn’t ask God “how”? Rather, it accepts, believes and endorses God’s
Word as absolute truth.

Faith’s Proclamation

The Word of God is in my heart and in my mouth; that’s the Word of faith by which I
live. It is the Word by which I reign and rule in the realms of life. I refuse to stagger at
the Word of God by asking “how will my miracle come?” Rather, I daily experience
miracles in my life because I believe and live by every Word that comes to me from God.
Glory to God forever!

Faith Comes to Your Spirit!

Date: October 15, 2016Author: saintofchrist0 Comments

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen –
Hebrews 11:1
Have you noticed sometimes that as you listen to God’s Word, maybe while in Church,
or on your own through an audio or video device, the whole world suddenly seems small?
All the challenges you may have been facing suddenly seem like nothing. The reason is
simple. At such a time, the Word of God is getting into your spirit and provoking a
response from your inner man. That response is faith. This is why the Bible
says “…Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17).
Every time you hear God’s Word your spirit becomes energized, and faith comes to you.
Faith is an attribute of the human spirit; it doesn’t operate in the realm of the physical
senses; it was imparted to your spirit when you were born again (Romans 12:3). Thus
every time the Word of God comes to you, it goes through your mind into your spirit, for
it is designed for your spirit. That Word becomes more real in your spirit than the
physical things that your senses perceive.

There’s a spiritual reaction that is ignited between your spirit and the Word of God that
gives you dominion over the circumstances of life; that’s faith, and it rises in you like a
giant. Then you have the assurance that you’re who God says you are, you have what He
says you have, and can do what He says you can do! The challenges of this world will
fade away, and you’ll find yourself relating with the realities of the Kingdom.

Proclamation of Faith

My spirit is attuned to the Word of God. Every time I receive the Word, my faith
increases and produces greater results, and my spirit gains the ascendancy over the
situations and circumstances of life. I’ll never be defeated because my faith is the victory
that overcomes the world. Hallelujah.

Saviours From Zion!

But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house
of Jacob shall possess their possessions – Obadiah 1:17
There’re those who read this Scripture to mean we ought to go to mount Zion to seek
deliverance, but that’s not what it means. In the New Testament, we don’t go to Zion
because we’re already in Zion; we were born there and we live there permanently: “But
ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly
Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels…” (Hebrews 12:22).
In Obadiah 1:21, the Bible says “saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the
mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’S.” Note it didn’t say, “a saviour
shall come up on mount Zion,” rather it says “saviours.” Meaning there would be many
saviours coming out of Zion, and we—members of the Body of Christ—the Church are
those saviours from Zion. The Church wasn’t meant to seek deliverance; we’re to give
deliverance to the world!
Understand that you’re a champion from Zion. You’re here on earth on a divine mission,
and the Lord has anointed you with power to carry out that mission. Jesus said, “…as my
Father hath sent me, even so send I you” (John 20:21). How did the Father send Jesus?
It’s revealed in Acts 10:38: “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost
and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the
devil; for God was with him.” We’ve been called to do the same.
You’ve been anointed with the Holy Ghost and with power, to go about doing good, and
healing all that are oppressed of the devil. Acts 1:8 says, “But ye shall receive power,
after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in
Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the
earth.” In Matthew 10:8, Jesus said, “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead,
cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.”
We’re the hope of the world! God left us here as answers to the cry of many. We’re the
champions and saviours from Zion; sent of God to bring men and women out of darkness
into the glorious light of their inheritance in Christ.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, I recognize today, your calling upon my life as one sent to take the
message of the divine life to those in my world, thereby bringing them salvation, healing

me today, as I go forth to fulfil this call, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Full Of Wisdom
Date: February 19, 2016Author: saintofchrist0 Comments

…That no flesh should glory in his presence. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of
God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption –
1 Corinthians 1:29-30
Just as Christ is your life (Colossians 3:4), and also your righteousness, sanctification,
and riddance (redemption), He’s also your wisdom. Christ being your wisdom means
you’re the embodiment of all wisdom and knowledge, for the Bible says in Him are
deposited all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:3), and He lives in
you.
There’re people who are always miles apart from wisdom; when they talk or act, wisdom
is never seen or heard. They have the wrong mindset, and therefore reason foolishly,
because wisdom eludes them; but that’s not you. Christ has been made unto you wisdom.
Your role is to respond to God’s Word by declaring, “Christ is my wisdom; I’m
excellent, and I do excellent things.” Someone may hear you talk that way and think
you’re proud and boastful, but you’re not; rather, you’re establishing the truth about who
you are in Christ.

You don’t get wisdom in the classroom or laboratory; it’s not in age either; it comes from
God; true wisdom is of the Spirit. Being in Christ and Christ in you, you have access to
divine wisdom. Therefore, that controlling force to always be in the center of God’s will,
and have insight into the realities of the Kingdom is at work in your life. That force of
wisdom controls your thoughts and actions and causes everything you do to turn out
excellently.

Recognize and acknowledge that you’re full of the wisdom of God. Now and again,
consciously declare that the wisdom of God in your heart and in your mouth is seen and
heard!

Confession (Faith’s Proclamation)

Christ is my wisdom; therefore, I have an excellent spirit. I think differently, because

God’s Word has moulded my thinking and given me the mindset of the righteous.
Divine wisdom is heard in my words, and seen in my actions today! I function in God’s
perfect will and have insight into the realities of the Kingdom. Halleluiah!

He Is Our Wisdom

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and
righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption – 1 Corinthians 1:30
The Bible says Christ Jesus is made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and
redemption. For today’s study, I’ll pick just one from this list – wisdom.

“Christ is made unto us wisdom” means that Christ has become our wisdom. Therefore,
we do not function with human wisdom but with an excellent wisdom. A lot of Christians
were never taught how to take advantage of that which Christ has made available unto
them. When you learn to take advantage of this excellent wisdom, you’ll always know
the right thing to do.
The Bible says, “A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fool’s
back” (Proverbs 26:3). The type of rod this scripture is referring to isn’t like the whip
used on a horse; it’s referring to the whip of life. Many are whipped by different
circumstances in life and suffer because of ignorance. They make terrible mistakes in
their lives because they haven’t learnt how to take advantage of the wisdom of God. The
more you put God’s Word into your spirit, the more you dig into that wisdom and avail
yourself of its privileges and advantages; you’ll begin to function in it at home, in your
academics, on your job, in your business and in your finances.
A life that is void of the wisdom of God will be full of afflictions and sufferings. But
when you begin to function with it, you’ll walk out of every affliction. God knows every
wrong step you could take and He would guide your step from making any of them
through this wisdom. So, you don’t have to make the blunder anymore; you can be more
certain of your choices in life. Avail yourself of that wisdom today and walk through life
victoriously!

Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for anointing me with the wisdom of Christ, for as many as have
been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Teach me to apply my heart to this wisdom
and also to submit to its authority in my life, in Jesus Name. Amen.

You Can Know All Things

Date: January 12, 2014Author: saintofchrist2 Comments

“That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full
assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of
Christ; In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” – Colossians 2:2-3

The Bible says all of the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ,
and we that Christ in the context of the Scripture above doesn’t refer to Jesus
alone: “we, being many, are one body in Christ and every one members one of another”(Romans
12:5). In other words, Christ refers to the church for which Jesus is the Head, and
we are His Body. Thus, if all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hid in
Christ, that means nothing ought to be beyond your scope of knowledge as a child
of God.

No wonder the Bible declares that we have an anointing from the Holy One and we know all
things(1 John 2:20). That anointing dwells in your spirit, which is the real you.
That’s where the light of God shines and it’s through your spirit that you can draw
from the boundless treasure-house of God’s knowledge.

Let me give you a practical example: Maybe you misplaced something and had
tried fruitlessly to remember where you kept it; in your mind, there’s no clue as to
where and how to find it. But do you know that your spirit doesn’t forget? If you
would activate your spirit by speaking in tongues, your spirit will begin to function
as a searchlight! Before long, your spirit sends that signal to your mind and you
know where that thing is.

You may ask, “Does this really work?” Emphatically yes! The reason some of
God’s people still function below their call is ignorance; they haven’t tapped into
the reservoir of knowledge God has made available to them. No child of God
should be in the dark about anything. Should there be anything you need
knowledge about? Through the agency of the Holy Spirit, you can access
knowledge of any topic in the world.

Begin to practice how to relate with God’s treasure-house of knowledge through

the Spirit. The next time you’re tempted to say, “I don’t know thus and thus,” stop
yourself and say, “In the Name of Jesus, I have access to the treasure of wisdom
and knowledge!” Then, begin to speak in tongues and let the Holy Spirit bring that
knowledge home to your spirit and then to your mind, for you have access to all
the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Prayer

Dear heavenly Father, thank You for opening unto me the boundless storehouse of
knowledge and wisdom in Christ. Ignorance and darkness are not part of my life
since I have access to all the treasure of wisdom and knowledge. Thank You for
the anointing of the Spirit that is at work in me, causing me to know all things, in
Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Christian: A Product Of

His Resurrection
Date: June 3, 2015Author: saintofchrist0 Comments
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:
that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory
of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of
life – Romans 6:4

If salvation were all about salvation from sin, there

wouldn’t have been any need for Jesus to rise from the
dead. His death on the cross would have been enough; it
paid for all our sins and guaranteed complete
propitiation. However, that’s redemption, and not
Christianity!

Redemption refers to saving someone by paying a price.

So when Jesus died, He paid the price for man’s
redemption with His own life; He did that for all
humanity, not for Christians. The Christian isn’t the man
that Christ died for. Look at it this way: when Jesus hung
on the cross, in the mind of God, we were all hanging
there too (in Him), for He was our representative. When
He cried out, “It is finished!” and gave up the ghost, we
also died in Him.

Now, here’s the big thing, which Satan didn’t see coming
and the angels still marvel at and seek to look into:
Christianity began, not when Jesus died, but when God
raised Him from the dead; at the resurrection. The
resurrection of Jesus Christ gave us something far beyond
redemption; it ushered us into a newness of life. We’ve
been raised up together with Christ (Ephesians 2:6).
Romans 10:9 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy
mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that
God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be
saved.” This lets us know that salvation comes by
believing in the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, and
the subsequent confession of His Lordship. So to answer
the question: who is a Christian? A Christian (amongst
other things) is one who identifies with the resurrected
Christ. The Christian has no past, for the Bible says in 2
Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a
new creature…”; meaning that he is a new species; one
that never existed before.
No wonder James declares that, “Of his (God’s) own will
begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind
of firstfruits of his creatures” (James 1:18). Being born
again, therefore, you’re not the “redeemed”; you’re the
fruit of the redemptive work of Christ. Redemption was
consummated with His death, but Christianity came from
the resurrection. Hallelujah!

family. Claim your salvation today, don’t procrastinate.
God bless you.

Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for making me one with Christ. I’m a
new creation and I walk in the newness of life, conscious that
I’ve been raised together with Christ, and seated together with
Him in the place of victory, authority, and dominion for-ever, in
Jesus’ Name. Amen.
The Curse of the Law
Date: January 27, 2017Author: saintofchrist0 Comments

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is
written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree… – Galatians 3:13
The Apostle Paul, in the third chapter of Galatians, draws a contrast between the Law and
faith in his great apologia of the Abrahamic covenant. In his use of the word ‘us’ in
Galatians 3:13, he identifies himself with the Jews as he does in Romans 11:1. Many
have argued that he was referring to Christians, no he wasn’t; neither was he referring to
the Gentiles. The Gentiles were not redeemed from the curse of the Law; they were
redeemed from the condemnation of the Law. I’ll explain the difference.

The curse of the Law was on the Jews, and that curse was “…Cursed is every one that
continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do
them” (Galatians 3:10, Deuteronomy 27:26, Jeremiah 11:3). Then the very presence of
the Law was the condemnation of the Gentiles. What does that mean? When God chose
the Jews to be His people, and gave them righteous laws to live by, that immediately
condemned the Gentiles. That’s why in Ephesians 4:17-18, the Gentiles are described as
alienated from the life of God, and strangers to the covenant of promise; having no hope
and without God in the world.
But now, in Christ Jesus, both the Jews and the Gentiles have been redeemed from the
curse of the Law and the condemnation of the Law respectively: “For he is our peace,
who hath made both one (the Jews and the Gentiles) and hath broken down the middle
wall of partition…” (Ephesians 2:14). Both have been brought together in Christ to make
one new man that’s neither a Jew nor a Gentile; that’s the new man in Christ. He is called
the new creation.
This new creation wasn’t redeemed from the curse of the Law because he was never
under the curse of the Law; he’s a brand new man that never existed before: “Therefore
if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all
things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

A Fresh Purchase
Date: September 29, 2013Author: saintofchrist0 Comments

Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place,
having obtained eternal redemption for us– Hebrews 9:12

The word “redemption” as used in our opening scripture is from the Greek, “lutrōsis,”
which means to ransom, deliver, save, or bring out of trouble. The Lord Jesus
redeemed man from sin at the cross, and His blood became the currency with
which He paid for the sins of the whole world. Then He was buried, and on the
third day, God raised Him from the dead with a new life. Now, He gives eternal
life to those who believe in Him.

Observe that the new creation is not the redeemed; he’s the fruit of Christ’s
redemptive work on the Cross. Some people get confused when they study portions
of the Scripture, where the new creation is described as “redeemed.” For instance, in
Revelations 5:9, the Bible says, “And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take
the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood
out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.”The word, “redeemed” is wrongly
translated here; it’s from the Greek, ‘agorazo,’ which means to go to the market and
make a purchase; to buy something as a gift to give to someone. It’s not a buy-
back, as is the case with“lutrōsis,” but a fresh purchase. Christ purchased us with His
blood, and gave us as gifts to God.

Several translations actually give a proper rendering of that verse. The New
International Version says, “… with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe
and language and people and nation.” The Living Bible says, “…for you were slain, and your
blood has bought people from every nation as gifts for God.” You’re a gift, purchased for God
by Jesus; He bought you with a price. This isn’t “lutrōsis”; this is “agorazo”; it’s a
fresh purchase. Now, you belong to God. You’re not the person that was
“delivered” from the devil when Jesus died on the cross; you’re a new creature,
never delivered from the devil, but born superior to him by the second birth (2
Corinthians 5:17).

Prayer

Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for sending Jesus to die for me and shed His
precious blood to cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I’ve thus become a new
creation, free to live righteously and serve you joyfully, enjoying your divine
presence, and living in your power and glory, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

If God Said It, It’s a Done Deal!

Date: April 6, 2016Author: saintofchrist0 Comments

Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven – Psalm 119:89

God’s Word is forever settled in heaven. That means it’s a done deal. His words are yea
and amen (2 Corinthians 1:20). Isaiah 55:10-11 also throws more light on the power and
infallibility of God’s Word: “For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven,
and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, …So shall my word be that goeth
forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that
which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
Knowing that God’s Word isn’t void of power and is forever settled in heaven, what you
need is to personalize it and apply it in your life. Maybe you woke up one morning and
suddenly discovered a growth in your body, you ought to act your faith and command the
growth to disappear. From then on, even if you can still see the growth, refuse to consider
it! Keep testifying about it; tell everybody the growth is defeated and that you already
have your miracle.

This was what Abraham did that was pleasing in the sight of God. The Bible says “Who
against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations;
according to that which was spoken, so shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith,
he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years
old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb” (Romans 4:18- 19).
Abraham glorified God for His Word and told everybody his name was no longer Abram
(exalted or assumed father), but Abraham, which meant “father of many.” Those who
heard him may have laughed and asked, “So where are the children?” But as far he was
concerned, God had said it; therefore, it was a done deal. He was already “father of
many.”

Find out what God has said about you and speak the same thing in faith, for His Word is
sure to produce what it talks about.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper
than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing
asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and
is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart –
Hebrews 4:12
Our opening scripture lets us know the power,
infallibility, and immutability of God’s Word. The Word
produces results when you believe, confess, and act upon
it as truth. For example, 2 Corinthians 2:14 says, “Now
thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in
Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by
us in every place.” This means no matter what comes your
way, insist that you’re triumphant always, and in all
things; stand your grounds in faith—against all odds—
maintaining that you’re a victor in Christ Jesus.

Some Christians have the notion that “Whatever will be,

will be”; and they’re wrong. God didn’t leave us at the
mercy of the devil or the circumstances of life. He didn’t
leave things to chance. Not once did He tell us in the
Scriptures, “Whatever will be, will be.” That’s what the
devil would rather have people think, so they won’t have
to do anything about their situation. But we’re smarter
than that! We’re Word practitioners. We act the Word.

God gave us His Word to live by, and to use in creating our
glorious and triumphant lives. So, it’s your responsibility
to use the Word; to work the Word. Philippians 2:12
says, “…work out your own salvation with fear and
trembling.”
This was what Abraham did. In Genesis 17:5, the Lord
said to him, “Neither shall thy name any more be called
Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of
many nations have I made thee.” At this time, Abraham
was nearly a hundred years old, and didn’t have any child,
but he believed and acted on the Word (Read Romans
4:17-21)! He didn’t stagger at the promise of God, through
unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God!

The change you desire in your finances, health and family

is dependent on you, not God. Act on the Word. Insist that
there’s going to be only one outcome: what the Word says!

I’m recording notable victories and achievements this year,

The Indwelling Presence Of The

Holy Spirit

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide
with you forever; even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it
seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and
shall be in you – John 14:16-17
The indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit is one of the greatest gifts you could ever have
as a Christian. This truth is even more profound when we recognize that whatever we do
for the Lord is worthless except it’s done through the Holy Spirit. Nothing we do for God
really matters, until we recognize and take full advantage of the ministry of the Holy
Spirit in our lives.

Just think about it: What in the world could you do for God all by yourself and in your
own power? Nothing! The Father has more angels than there are people, and these angels
are more powerful than humans (Psalm 8:4-5). So, in a sense, He really doesn’t need
humans to help Him. However, He created us in His image and after His likeness so it
would be possible for us to be filled with his Spirit. That’s a blessing and a privilege,
angels don’t have.

Your service to God becomes acceptable to Him when you render it through the Holy
Spirit. Therefore, learn to always honour the Spirit and appreciate His presence in your
life. Never take it lightly; His presence is the most important thing to you. Remember,
life is nothing without the Holy Spirit. When you get to know Him and fellowship with
Him, your life takes on a new meaning.

in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

We’re Chosen, Royal, Holy and Peculiar

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people;
that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into
his marvellous light – 1 Peter 2:9
The above scripture is a most inspiring verse! It says you’re chosen, royal, holy and
peculiar. You’re not an ordinary person; you belong in a different class. Notice that it
says, “Ye are a chosen generation”; not “Ye shall be.” A promise would have been good
enough, but this is a present-hour reality. I particularly like the Amplified
rendering: “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s]
own purchased, special people….” We’re a chosen breed!
In Christ Jesus, there’s neither black nor white; what matters is a new creation: “For in
Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new
creature”(Galatians 6:15). In Christ Jesus, there’s only one race, the chosen race, and it
includes every one of us. We’re God’s peculiar treasure, His royal and chosen breed,
called to manifest His righteousness; called to express His beauty, excellence and
wisdom.
We’re more than conquerors (Romans 8:37); we’re from the lineage of champions and
victors. We’re superior to Satan. That’s what the Bible says about us. We’re saints of
God; and part of our calling is to execute judgment on Satan and the cohorts of darkness
(Psalm 149:5-9). You can’t know all these and not consider yourself specially blessed
and privileged of God; you’re very special. Never allow anyone make you think less of
who you are in Christ, because you’re God’s dream come true.

In the Old Testament, He said to them, “If you obey my voice, I’ll make you a peculiar
treasure, a peculiar people, a Kingdom of priests, a holy nation…” (Exodus 19:5-6).
Now, we’re God’s dream fulfilled, and we didn’t have to qualify for it. We didn’t beg for
it or do anything by ourselves to earn it; the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ conferred it on
us. We got it by inheritance! Blessed be God!

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy
nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the
praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his
marvellous light – 1 Peter 2:9

Observe our profound description in the verse we just

read: we’re chosen, royal and peculiar; chosen to be the
expression of God’s righteousness, and the manifestation
of His glory in the earth. We’re God’s best, and there’s so
much He has deposited within our spirits to bless the
world with.

In Genesis 12:2, He said to Abram, “…I will make of thee a

great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great;
and thou shalt be a blessing.” You’re the seed of Abraham,
because the Bible says in Galatians 3:29 that “…if ye be
Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed….” Therefore, not
only are you blessed, you’re also a blessing. You carry the
blessing with you. Everything you touch is blessed, as well
as all those who are connected with you.
Contemplate for a moment on your peculiar attributes
and heritage in Christ! The Bible says you’re God’s
workmanship(Ephesians 2:10), His handiwork— crafted
for excellence. You’ve been thoroughly furnished with
everything you need to live victoriously and be an
extraordinary success. So don’t try to be somebody else.
Become satisfied with who you are, and with the fact that
God loves you, and He’s happy to have you.
Furthermore, keep sowing the right seeds—the right
words—into your personality; listen to, and endorse only
words that inspire you, and build your confidence on who
you are in Christ. God is confident and convinced about
what He has made. He knows your true worth and your
abilities. He knows that nothing is impossible with you. He
has placed you over and above sickness, disease, poverty,
failure, death and the devil. He has made you
indestructible, for He has said, “…no weapon fashioned
against you shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17) and
that, “…nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke
10:19).

Believe these truths and live accordingly, so you can

effectively live your best, and be all that God has destined
you to be.

Dear Father, thank you for making me special; I’m glad to know

A Heritage Of Greatness

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his
savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good
for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot
of men – Matthew 5:13

God told Abraham that He would make him great, and in

his seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed
(Genesis 22:18). This is our heritage as Abraham’s seed;
we’ve been set apart for greatness; it’s our calling to be a
blessing to this world and to effect positive changes in it.
You’re in this world as an agent of positive change.

If you never get to hear about it or know of it, you may

never become what God has made you. The first step is to
know who Christ is in you and who you are in Him. Having
known this, the next thing is to begin living accordingly.
Look again at God’s idea. He said to Abraham, “…I will
make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make
thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing” (Genesis
12:2). It wasn’t Abraham who begged God, “Please, I want
to be great; make me great”; no! God chose to make him
great, and make him a blessing.
This means that whether or not you intended it, greatness
is God’s dream for you. God’s promise of greatness to
Abraham was also to Abraham’s seed, which is Christ
(Galatians 3:16). Now, if you’re born again, you’ve been
baptized into Christ. That means you’re Abraham’s seed,
and therefore, an heir according to the promise
(Galatians 3:27-29). You were born into greatness by
virtue of your being in Christ. You don’t need to struggle
to be great; greatness abides in you now!

Live every day, with the mentality of the great man or

woman that you are. Those who are born great have a
way of thinking, talking, walking, and living. They don’t
grumble or complain; they make things happen! By the
power of the Word and ability of the Spirit, they effect
changes.

Make great things happen in your life and for others this

that befits your personality in Christ.

You Are A Blessing!

And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be
blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice – Genesis
22:18
In Genesis 12:2 God spoke to Abraham and said, “…I
will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee,
and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a
blessing.” You’d observe that this was entirely God’s
idea. Abraham didn’t ask to be great; it was God’s
dream for him. It’s also important to note that God
wanted to make Abraham great so that he (Abraham)
could be a blessing.
Having been born again, you’re the seed of Abraham
and that means not only are you blessed, you’re also
a blessing. God wants others to benefit from your
blessing. He already said to Abraham, “…in thy seed
shall all the nations of the earth be
blessed…” Therefore, it’s your calling to be a blessing
to your world; it’s your inheritance to effect positive
changes in this world! You’re in this world as an
agent of change. Therefore, think of ways to
positively impact the world of your time.
Many of God’s people agree that God has blessed
them, but they need to catch the revelation that
they’re the embodiment of a blessing! Galatians 3:29
says “…If ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed,
and heirs according to the promise.” To be in Christ
means you’re born again, and as a result, all the
blessings of Abraham are now your present-hour
possessions. You’re a bundle of blessings!

You’re the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians

3:16); that makes you the embodiment of the fullness
of the blessings of God. That’s why it’s a blessing in
itself to those you meet, because you carry the
blessing of the Gospel. Have this consciousness, and

Blessed To Be A Blessing

She came up in the crowd behind Jesus and touched the edge of his cloak, and her
bleeding stopped at once – Luke 8:44 (Good News Bible).
In Genesis 12:2, God said to Abraham, “…I will bless thee, and make thy name great;
and thou shalt be a blessing.” All the promises of God to Abraham weren’t just to
Abraham, but to Abraham and his seed. Galatians 3:16 says, “Now to Abraham and his
seed were the promises made. He saith not, and to seeds, as of many; but as of one,
and to thy seed, which is Christ.” Notice that it says “…to Abraham and his seed”; not
seeds. That seed is Christ; and as a new creation, you belong to Christ; therefore, you’re
the seed of Abraham! Galatians 3:29 says, “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye
Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
Your union with Christ automatically qualified you as the real descendant of Abraham,
and by extension, the heir of the Abrahamic blessings. This means that not only are you
specially blessed of God, you’re also a blessing; you’re a conveyor of eternal verities! In
you, shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; what a ministry. When you say to
someone, “God bless you,” he or she is blessed, indeed, because you’re the distributor of
God’s blessings. Anyone who associates with you, just because you belong to Jesus
Christ, is sure to receive a blessing from God, because you’re a God-carrying vessel.
You’re His living tabernacle.

Irrespective of what anyone may think of you, God has chosen to live in you, and has
chosen you to be the dispenser of His goodness. Anyone who has a need, or is in a
predicament, can have a miracle just by touching you. If only the people of the world
would get to know this truth, their sufferings would be over! Someone afflicted with
cancer wouldn’t have to cry or become despondent; he or she could be healed just by
touching you, because you’re a God-carrier; a conveyor of His love, power, glory, virtue,
compassion and grace.

Having been born again, you’re not an ordinary person; you’re a divine package of
power; you carry God everywhere you go. You’re a conveyor of eternal verities.

power, even by the Spirit of the Lord, and the glory of God is released into my world

The Christian Is Not A Sinner

Date: October 30, 2015Author: saintofchrist10 Comments
For He hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin;
that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. –
2 Corinthians 5:21

Jesus didn’t die to make us sinners; we’re His holy and

sanctified ones; born with His nature of righteousness.
The opening scripture shows us the reason He died and
was made sin: “That we might be made the righteousness of
God in Him…” Praise God!

The sinner is not just someone who has committed sin.

For example, the fact that someone lied doesn’t make him
a liar; he only becomes a liar when it’s his nature to tell
lies. The fact that a man barked like a dog doesn’t make
him a dog. In the same way, though it’s wrong to sin, you
can’t call a man a sinner just because he sinned. One can
only be a sinner by nature, because sin is a nature.

Sin is the nature of the devil which is passed to every man

that’s born into this world. It’s beyond the mere acts of
lying, stealing, fornication, etc, that people are familiar
with. The nature of sin is responsible for all the sickness,
corruption, decay, and death that exist in the world today.
Thus, for someone to be called a sinner means such a
person has the evil and destructive nature of sin
functioning in him.
What’s the cure for that? Righteousness! For the one who
is born again, the nature of sin with which he has borne
by his biological parents has been supplanted with the
nature of God that produces righteousness. He can no
longer be called a sinner even if he does something
wrong. All he needs for doing anything wrong is to ask
and receive forgiveness from the Father. What the sinner
needs is the new nature, which is only occurs when he
makes Jesus Christ Lord of his life.

1John 3:9 and 5:18 say,

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed
remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of
God…We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not;
but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that
wicked one toucheth him not.

John, in these passages, meant exactly what he said and

said exactly what he meant; so don’t try to reinterpret
him.
As you grow in Christ and learn to live in the Word, you
become perfected in your walk in righteousness. It’s like a
baby who is learning to walk and then stumbles and falls;
would that in any sense suggest that the baby isn’t
human, since every human person is supposed to be able
to walk normally? Of course not! That baby is as human
as the adult who can walk and run perfectly without
stumbling. In the same way, a Christian who does
something wrong is still as righteous as the one who
never committed any sin. Therefore don’t let anyone call
you a sinner, for you’re the righteousness of God in Christ
Jesus.

unblameable and unreproveable in his sight.– Colossians
1:21-22
Did you know that as a child of God you’re unblameable?
It doesn’t matter who is pointing fingers at you, God says
you’re unblameable! This is as a result of His
righteousness that you received. You may say, “But I’ve
made mistakes”. Yes you might have, but you’re
unblameable in God’s sight because Jesus took
responsibility for all the mistakes you’d ever made. “To
wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto
himself, not imputing their trespasses unto
them…”(2Corinthians 5:19)
The Bible says that God was in Christ, reconciling the
world-sinner unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses
unto them (2Corinthians 5:19); meaning He’s not holding
their sins against them, because Jesus paid the full
penalty for their sins: “But he was wounded for our
transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the
chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his
stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).
Now, if the sinner is not being held accountable for his
sins because of the salvation consummated by Jesus on
behalf of mankind, what about you? Our opening
scripture says you that were hitherto alienated from the
life of God has now been reconciled and brought into a
living relationship with the Father through Christ.
However, the latter part lets us know that the reason for
the reconciliation is to present you holy and unblameable
and unreproveable before God.

Christ has qualified you to stand in the presence of God,

without inferiority, guilt or condemnation. As far as God
is concerned, you’re without blemish and free from all
accusations; you’re holy, blameless and beyond reproach.
Men may blame you, scorn you for your errors and look at
you as unholy, but God says, you’re holy, flawless, perfect
and impossible to fault in His sight!

This is the result of His righteousness in you – His

rightness, perfection, precision and correctness in your
life. Yes, even if you sin, you are still unblameable because
God never looks at you for the wrong things you do but for
His righteousness in you (1John 3:9). The Bible says
that He doesn’t look at sin (Habakkuk 1:13). The reason
for God telling us not to sin is because: 1) It is not our
nature to sin. 2) Sin destroys our faith; meaning we are
allowing the devil to have control over us. 3) Sin keeps us
away from God.
Believe this; God is not in business to condemn people for
their sins as many believe. It’s wrong for Him to be so
when He made the blood of Jesus available to wash away
their sins. All He’s saying today is, come on everybody; you
don’t need to sin anymore because Jesus has paid the full
penalty for your sins. Accept what He did for you.

This article might be too much for some people (religious

ones) but it’s the truth! As Christians, we are not sinners
saved by grace. The Bible says, we are brand new species
that never existed before; ones who have no past (2
Corinthians 5:17). If we have no past then Jesus actually
didn’t die for us. You were born sin-free when you were
born again. Your new life in God didn’t start at the death
of Jesus but at His resurrection. We are not serving the
Jesus who died on the cross for the Bible says He was
made sin, He was a curse (2 Corinthians 5:19; Galatians
3:13); but the risen One. Hallelujah!
Romans 4:25 says, “Who (Jesus) was delivered for our
offences, and was raised again for our justification.” This
means that He died for our sins (when we weresinners –
Romans 5:8); but He didn’t stop there. His death would
have been enough to save the world but He did something
better than that. By His resurrection, we are declared ‘not
guilty’ from any sin because it represents the defeat of
Satan and sins and He gave us the victory (1 Corinthians
15:54-57). All the devil and his cohorts do today is
accusing us for the sins we commit but the Bible says in
1John 2:1, “My little children, these things write I unto you,
that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate
with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous”

Two things to notice in 2 John 2:1

1) He addresses little children; meaning only them

(Christians who are carnally minded/spiritual babes) sin.
Notice, he didn’t say, “when” but “if” any man sin; which
means he doesn’t expect us to sin (1John 3:9).

2) This verse does not imply that Jesus begs the Father to
forgive our sins (as many believe) but that He stands as
our lawyer from the accusations of Satan. It’s actually the
Father who appointed Him to defend us; not from the
Father’s judgment but from Satan’s accusations
(Revelation 12:10-11).

Here’s how God’s word describes us (notice the tenses):

And we know that all things work together for good to them
that love God, to them who are the called according to his
purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did
predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he
might be the firstborn among many brethren (not slaves).
Moreover whom he did predestinate, themhe also called:
and whom he called, them he also JUSTIFIED: and whom
HE JUSTIFIED, them HE ALSO GLORIFIED. (Romans
8:28-30)
God has not only declared us ‘not guilty’but He also has
glorified us. That’s the Gospel! Praise God! Peter
reiterates this truth when he said, “Of which salvation the
prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who
prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ
which was in them did signify, when it testified
beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that
should follow.” (1 Peter 1:10-11). This glory has come.
Hallelujah!

Righteousness Is Yours Now!

Date: April 6, 2014Author: saintofchrist0 Comments
But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested,
being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the
righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all
and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference –
Romans 3:21-22
2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “For he hath made him to be sin for
us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness
of God in him.” What this means is that you’ve been made
the righteousness of God in Christ; and this is a present-
hour reality. Righteousness is not something you look
forward to in the future; it’s already yours.
The Lord Jesus bore the sins of the whole world on the
cross, and by His resurrection God declared everyone “not
guilty.” Therefore, no one ought to go to hell because of
sin. The only reason people would go to hell is their
refusal to accept what Jesus did; their refusal of the
righteousness He brought to the world. That is why in 2
Corinthians 5:19, the Apostle Paul tells us that, “…God
was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing
their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word
of reconciliation.”
God is no longer counting men’s sins against them. A man
may feel guilty about his sins, but the truth is, God isn’t
keeping account of sins. Some Christians like to wallow in
guilt because it gives them a false sense of piety, but that’s
wrong. If God isn’t counting the sins of the world, why
should He count yours? [But that doesn’t mean that it’s OK
for you to continue to sin either because He said be holy
for I am holy (1 Peter 1:16).]

The Sovereign Judge, has justified you because of Christ’s

sacrifice, and has given you His nature of righteousness.
That nature makes you do right. Now that you’re born
again, righteousness is a part of your being. You no
longer have to struggle to do right! The nature of God to
do right has been imparted to your spirit.

Prayer

Dear Father, thank you for making me righteous in Christ

Jesus! I reign in life as a king today, bearing fruits of
righteousness, and living in your power and glory, in
Jesus’ Name. Amen.
