SUBJECT: Hard Rock International to Open Sports-Themed Restaurants

Hard Rock Café International will open four new sport-themed restaurants called Hard Ball Café
with the first opening May 7 at 11 a.m. at the Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh.

The opening of the Pittsburgh location will take place on the first floor of the hotel with the
ribbon cutting. The president and CEO of Hard Rock Café International, Hamish Dodds, will be at the
opening in addition to Charlene Spikes, a former Duquesne University basketball standout who will
manage the Pittsburgh location.

The Hard Ball Café will feature sports memorabilia and jerseys to fit the sport-themed
atmosphere. Additional locations for the Hard Ball Café include St. Louis, Montreal and San Francisco
which are due to open in the spring.

Hard Rock Café International has over 185 rock and roll-themed restaurants throughout the
world visited by 80 million guests each year.
