CONTENT STANDARDS The students realize that schema theories may be used in order to fully understand a reading text
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS The students comprehend a short story using schema theories and produces a short story of his/her own.

1. Use effectively schema theories in order to fully understand a reading material.
2. Apply schema theories in accomplishing learning tasks.

SPECIFIC LEARNING OUTCOMES The learners understand the different schema theories to use in understanding a reading material.
TIME ALLOTMENT 15 days

LESSON OUTLINE:
1. Introduction / Motivation: Engage the students to reflect on the idea of living or working abroad (refer to Introductory Act. pg. 2)
2. Instruction / Delivery: Class discussion and group discussion
3. Enrichment / Evaluation: Draw an events depicting the life of Filipinos living or working abroad.
Come up with a comparison and contrast of the kind of Filipinos have here and abroad.
