Fashion is not based solely on how expensive their clothing is, but on

how people bring this aspect on fire, considering their skin complexion.
Typically, the standard of beauty has been settled for those people who
have a very fair skin, but how about those who did not pass the
standard? Filipinos are known for being morena or moreno, but there
are also who has a dark and fair skin, and that is inevitable. Regardless
of their differences in terms of their physical characteristics especially
in their complexion, they are all indeniably elegant, beautiful, and
audacious. Tonight, we are going to showcase how these three
different skin tones of the Filipino people will be emphasized through
wearing geena cloth with different shades of color. Beauty is not
defined by race and definitely not by skin tone.

Welcome to this year's fashion show! You are about witness our
models displaying some of the most eye-catching fashions that
showcase their beautiful skin complexions. For the dark tone, our first
model is Via Marie dela Cruz. She looks fearless wearing red colored
geena cloth that evokes passion and power. Warm colors like red geena
silk cloth looks incredible against a dark skin. Furthermore, red signifies
power, boldness, and confidence. It creates drama and excitement, and
stimulates the senses that suits and accentuate the dark skin of an
individual.

Our next model is Christine Joy Panganiban, she is wearing a golden

yellow top which makes her look dashing. Wearing pastel colored
clothes like yellow helps a person with a darker complexion to stand
out. In addition, according to Vincent Van Gogh "yellow is capable of
charming God." With this color, her skin looks astonishing and it
perfectly highlights the beauty of her skin complexion.
The next model is Ella Mae Rellon. She is wearing an orange top that
makes her look captivating. A darker complexion is also emphasized
through the orange color. Moreover, orange combines the energy of
red and the happiness of yellow. This color pop against Ella's skin
complexion and really flatter her tones.

Our next model is Alyza Soriano, a Morena. She looks stunning wearing
that cloth in the shade of peach that greatly suits her skin. Peach does
symbolize vitality, so her glow should really be seen as no surprise. This
color enables us to see the beauty without an effort.

Our next Morena model is Antonette Claire Cerodo who is wearing a

pink geena cloth. Claire's skin complexion helps her to look charming,
feminine and sweet in her garments. Pink takes all the passion and
energy of red and tempers it with the purity of white, leaving us with
the color of tenderness and affection.

And the last model in the second category is Hannah Micol Alviar, she
is wearing a beige top who looks stunning showcasing her morena skin
that highlights the true beauty of a Filipina. Being morena, you have to
work a bit harder to find the perfect shade/s that will give emphasis to
their brown skin complexion. But this lady believes that there is no limit
to what you can wear.

For the mestiza category, our first model is Rhealyn De Vera, an alluring
lady wearing a purple top. She looks dazzling in that color. Purple
blends red and blue which signifies fire and water. It gives love with
enthusiasm, kindness, and understanding. It is also the color of dreams,
wishes, and whimsy.
Our next model is Jessa Mae Salomon wearing a green geena cloth. The
model is absolutely charming and fascinating wearing a shade of green
that is just light enough to complement her fair skin. Green is a
versatile shade that looks great when matched with a range of other
colors.

And now, here comes Cristine Joy Silvestre with her royal blue geena
cloth outfit. She looks very elegant and attractive showing off her light
skin that greatly fits the color she is wearing. The royal blue color
boosts freshness, coolness and depth to the palette of fashion shades.

That ends the female category.

Now, we will now proceed to the men’s category. Staring off is Aldren
Tolentino showcasing his dark skin tone. He wears red top that makes
him look sexy. He is really pulling it off. Red compliments his dark skin
which made it stand out. Shades of red give this feeling of perseverance
and fire which signify masculinity.

Next on line is Kenneth Casintahan who appears pleasing wearing his

golden yellow top. He has a dark complexion of which the color yellow
bring that natural warmness in his tone. Dark skinned gals are going to
look best in colors on the warm end of the spectrum in any shade, from
pastels to brighter colors and rich, deeper tones as well.

Next to him is Andrei Mamalayan being appealing with his beige top.
Brown is a good choice for people with fair skin. Any earth-tones will
look great on this type of skin. Darker colors like grey, brown,
burgundy, bottle green, navy and bolder shades of blue will all work
well as these shades contrast with this skin tone.
Following him is Bart Vincent Greganda, looking gentle with his pink
top. Pink is a good choice for people with medium skin tone. This shows
the warmness and does not provide bad undertone. Deep pink, bright
pink and raspberry pink are also good choices.

Second to the last is Richmond Tamolang wearing a green geena cloth.

He is looking sophisticated with that color. The color green is a relaxing
color that is pleasing to the eye and is said to have healing powers; and
it is also full of balance and harmony.

The last but no means the least is Jeric Amador with his royal blue top,
walking with confidence and passion. Cool colors like blue makes his
undertone stand out. Blue compliments people with cool skin tone.
