    4th August 2018 NSS Activity Issues Addressed


    INAUGURATION &SWACHHTA PAKHWADA BY NSS
    UNIT OF DEV SAMAJ COLLEGE FOR WOMEN SECTOR
    45-B CHANDIGARH
    1ST August, 2018
    ● On the day of Inauguration the NSS team organised an
    Orientation-Cum-Training programme. Motto of NSS - “ Not ME
    but YOU” - was depicted a PowerPoint Presentation . Principal
    Dr. JASPAL KAUR inaugurated the programme and
    congratulated volunteers on taking up NSS. Another PPT on
    “Clean and Green India” was also showcased .

    ● As a part of SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN launched on 2nd October,


    2014 on GANDHI JAYANTI by our honourable Prime Minister Shri
    Narendra Modi, NSS UNIT of Dev Samaj College for Women,
    sector 45-B, Chandigarh organised seminar on SWACHH BHARAT
    PAKHWADA on 1st August, 2018 in the College premises. Dr.
    Jaspal Kaur (our Eminent Speaker) begins the Seminar by
    introducing the students about NSS UNIT. Further she explained
    the various issues regarding CLEANLINESS in the college and
    outside too.

    ● During this Event, various PPT and posters were presented by


    NSS Volunteers. Also a CLEANLINESS RALLY was flagged off
    from the college under the guidance of Programme officers MRS.
    LEENA GUPTA & DR. ANUPAM RANI. Also SWACHHTA SHAPATH
    (OATH) was taken by the NSS team. The event ended up by the
    Principal congratulating all the volunteers and Programme
    officers for the successful accomplishment of this MISSION
    (SWACHHTA PAKHWADA). Apart from this, few more activities
    have been planned which will be organised by NSS unit in coming
    days.
