    How to Install KeySecure Virtual k150 v8.0.

    0 in VMware Workstation 10

    Download ovftool from vmware.com, install it and then set search path, so ovftool can be invoked at
    command line (regardless of your location).

    Open a command window and run ovftool…


    C:\VM> ovftool --skipManifestCheck 610-013016-001_KeySecure_VMware_Image_8.3.2-01.ova safenet-
    vm-8.0.0-12-k150v.vmdk
    Opening OVA source: 610-012710-001_150v-release_v8.0.0-12.ova
    Opening VMX target: safenet-vm-8.0.0-12-k150v.vmdk
    Writing VMX file: safenet-vm-8.0.0-12-k150v.vmdk
    Transfer Completed
    The manifest does not validate
    Completed successfully
    C:\VM>
    This will create a “vmx” and “vmdk” file…
    Now start VMware Workstation and select File -> New menu item, and then open the “vmx” file.
    Follow instructions at Chapter 1, Step 3 of KeySecure Virtual 8.0.0 Installation Guide.
