For my project, I will be requiring a few items that I have compiled into a table. For my entry event, I will need a karaoke machine and Hamilton biography from Amazon and a historian outfit budget that will be used at Goodwill to create. The rest of my items can be found at Staples. Students will need crafting items such as construction paper, markers, popsicle sticks, copy paper and ink, scissors, tri-fold boards, colored pens, pre-cut letters, and borders for my students to put together their final presentation. Students will need highlighters, mini dry erase boards, dry erase markers, dry erase erasers, along with the previously mentioned scissors, copy paper and ink for the “dissection” portion of our project where they will be cutting apart, analyzing, and examining lyrics and their meanings. The final cost my classroom needs is that for a party planner. We will hire a party planner to take care of the concert that we will be holding as our final community presentation. To fund the planner, the class will be starting a GoFundMe account to raise the money. For all other resources, we will be placing the list on DonorsChoose to try and get all the supplies provided. The grand total of the project is $1,664.49. With funding, our classroom hopes to get the schools total down to $0.00.
