Work # 204 Essay - Destroying The Rainforests To Build Houses and Furniture (750 Words) Dec 30, 2015
Reason 1
The first reason as why the destruction of the forests is not good is that it snatch the houses of the
animals living in the forests and make them to move towards the cities that will be threatening
for the survival of the human beings and it is not ethical to snatch the shelter of the animals for
the purpose of the housing and furniture manufacturing.
Examples:
1. In 2014, in the India there are in total 3 events when the tigers and once the elephant
move towards the cities only because of rising trend of destruction of the forests in the
India from the last two decades.

Destruction of Forests
2. The deforestation or the destruction of the forests results in the scarcity of the unique
animals like the black dare.
3. From 1990’s, almost 70% of the deforested area’s products are used for the furniture and
house building and it results increase in the number of the endanger species of the
animals due to loss of habitat.
Reason 2
Destruction of forests is harmful for the animals and for the human beings as well as it
enhances the temperature of the earth and enhances the global warming along with the
increase of the natural disasters.
Examples:
1. It disturbs directly the natural equilibrium of the nature that results in disturbing the
balance of the environment. As the destruction of the forests in the last two decades
increases, it directly influences the shading areas in the forests and animals died
because of the strict cruelty of the temperature. Shading through trees in the forests
provides the edge to the animals to save themselves from the complications of the
temperature.
2. Destruction of the forests enhances the temperature of the earth as according to the
report on the global warming in the last ten years the temperature of the earth planet
increases with the 5 degrees that is threatening for the survival of the animals and this
is basically due to the cutting of trees for the purpose of building houses and the
furniture for the human being.
3. Destruction of the forests also increases the probability of the natural disasters like
the floods. Trees have the ability in the forests to stand hard against the floods and
provide the safe habitat to the animals even in case of the natural disasters as flood
but the destruction of the forests directly influence the shelter and the habitat of the
animals.

Destruction of Forests
Counterargument:
The destruction of the forests is not bad for making the houses beautiful and charming as the
trees have specific time period and in that it is better to take advantage of the trees and used them
in useful manners by manufacturing furniture and the houses.
Examples:
1. The trees from the forests enhance the beauty and charm of the houses.
2. It is the best way to make use of the trees wood in commercial way that benefit the
human beings as all of these resources are for the human beings. In the last two decades
the business of the furniture manufacturing enhances due to the useful affect of the
forests.
3. There are several institutes providing the natural habitat to the animals, so the animal’s
shelter and habitat is not compromising through the cutting of the forests.
Conclusion:
I concluded with my opinion and I strongly believe that the destruction of the forests is not just
threatening for the animals but also for the human beings. It deprived the animals from their own
home in natural habitat and disturb the balance of the eco system as it enhances the number of
endanger species, enhances the temperature complexities and it is not ethical at all. No doubt
there are various institutes providing habitat to the animals but this phenomena is disturbing the
equilibrium of the natural environment and eco-system.
