The role of a general manager at MTM appeals to me because it will help me gain valuable insight into the fields of
management and transportation services. After reviewing the job ad, I was incredibly pleased to discover how well the
requirements described by you align with what I have to offer as a high school student. One of my greatest passions is
learning about how to manage a business, this job is perfect real-world experience to learn from and develop my

According to what I found on your job position advertisement, being a General Manager at MTM mean to collaborate
with operations, corporate support departaments, and transportation providers to ensure the most appropriate and cost-
effective delivery of transportation services. The responsibilities if this position are oversight of the employees,
transportation, operations, and maintenance. I fit the requirements perfectly because I posses the right soft skills for the
job such as; being efficient, strong interpersonal skills, and managerial skills. I see inefficiency not just as a problem in its
own right, but as something that pulls time and energy away from all the future goals of your company. For example, I
have demonstrated efficiency in class, when the teacher assigns homework, I try to finish as much as possible in class to
leave myself more time at home. Good managers are almost always good leaders as well. In addition to leading, a
critical role of a manager is to also ensure that all parts of the organization are functioning cohesively. I am able to
manage well because I take on the role of the leader in most group projects assigned to me in school, I make sure
everyone stays on task and on-time. I possess great interpersonal skills that are crucial for a managerial-type role. It can
determine how well information is shared throughout a team, ensuring that the group acts as a unified workforce without
any confusion. If a team member ask for assistance I am eager to help them and clarify anything they desire to know to
the best of my ability. As you can hopefully tell, my skillset fits your needs almost perfectly, that's why I'm right for the
job.

Being a high school student with excellent grades for the last two years, I possess valuable social, multi-tasking, and
teamwork skills required in all aspects of the job. I believe that with my skills I can provide superior management at
MTM. I have a friendly and helpful approach to our customers and colleagues. I am always open to feedback and to
communicate with my team in a clear and straightforward way. I possess the ability to multitask and handle the pressure
of a busy day. Most importantly I have a willingness to learn and improve because as a high school student I understand
my lack of experience, but I can make that up with my valuable skills.

To conclude, I would be most grateful if you could consider me for the general manager position at your company. I am available
