Developing classroom management strategies and effective teaching techniques

This course has been designed for experienced teachers who would like to brush up and
reinforce their teaching techniques as well as new teachers seeking to develop and master
fundamental classroom management strategies. The course is appropriate for teachers of all
levels from pre-school education to adult teaching.

Participants will acquire and expand their knowledge of how classroom layouts, using limited
space and improving overall classroom environment can improve classroom atmosphere
immensely. The course also addresses the importance of establishing and maintaining good
rapport, provoking awareness of the importance of the right voice tone, gesture and
language. Focus is also placed on a learner-centred approach, giving clear instructions,
checking learning and understanding, providing a good feedback and praise as well.

In this course, participants will also practice how to encourage pair and group work and keep
it interesting, but they will also be acquainted with some innovative teaching techniques
which will equip them with useful ICT tools making their classroom innovative and up to
