Activity
The learning activity for this IWB assignment is to play a game
of jeopardy while dividing the class into two to three teams
and have each student come up and select which question,
they want to answer and have an image, question, or answer
pop up on the screen and give the student 10 seconds to
answer. I would change the plan mentioned below to include
write in and blank templates, so the students can draw and
write on the board to involve the students more. This helps the
students form a sense of unity while being on a team and it
ensures that every student comes to the board to give an
answer as opposed to the students raising their hands and
spreading the knowledge more evenly throughout the class.
The teacher would be calling the students up to the board and
making sure the other students in the class are staying
involved by having a worksheet they have to fill out with the
answers for an extra 5 points of extra credit. There would also
be a lighting round at the end where the teacher will ask
questions to the class for extra points. Having a fun
competition between the students and having them use the
board to interact will help the students remember the lesson
and interact with the technology by choosing their questions
and answers.
