INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE STUDENTS

ALL students to pay attention to the followings

1. EIGHTY percent attendance is required to sit in END POSTING EXAMINATION (EPX).Medical

certificate permit you to attend extra classes on Sat/Sunday /Holidays in ward to make up 80%
attendance.

2. Those students who fail the EPX will appear in Remedial Exam with the next rotation i.e. after 8
weeks. Please get in touch with me a week before the exam due date & also apprise your clinical
coordinator of the module in which you are posted regarding Medicine Remedial exam to avoid clash of
dates. Usually it is on the THURSDAY of EPX. Every Thursday there is Remedial class. Please contact the
concerned teacher/me

3. Every Monday of the Week One of the MAHSA lecturer will demonstrate as how to examine a
particular system in Grand Season CSL

4. Shadow House students (SHM) will discuss the procedures/ interesting cases seen during the duty
hours with the lecturers

5. All students MUST l be properly dressed & groomed. The Skirts MUST be below Knee lenth.The nails
should be clipped & no bands should be worn on the wrist. The white coat MUST be clean & buttoned
while examining the patient.

6. MAHSA students MUST be courteous to hospital staff especially to the matrons & sisters of the ward.
Please wish the consultants, MOs & Hos.

7. All medical examination kits/ equipment’s must be carried by the students.

8. The Sub Gp. leader should get in touch with the hospital consultant in the morning/preceding day &
inform him/her about the clinic & ask where to report.
