PREPARATION OF RESEARCH PROJECT

• The Volume of Research Project: 20 Pages or more.

• Typing Directions:
– White bond paper of A4 size
– One inch broad margin must be on each side except the left-side
margin which should be 1.25 inch. “New Times Roman” with “line-
spacing 1.5”.
– Main headings font size should be 16 and capital while for the sub
heading and general text should be 14 and 12 respectively.
• Pagination:
– All pages must be numbered. (1, 2,3,4,5 etc,).
– Pages of abstract and Acknowledgements should bear Roman
numbers (i, ii, iii, iv, v, vi etc), in the center of the page at bottom.

Identify & Refine your Topic

• Using your area of specialization as a guide,
brainstorm several interesting subjects.
• Refine those subjects into one topic by listing
keywords, similar words or phrases, and broader and
narrower words.

searching relevant theories and literature
regarding interested topic.
• After reading 1 to 5 article, summarize your

• For example: instead of writing a history of the
development of industrialization in Pakistan…
• Narrow the topic to: "The effect of the
international financial crisis of the late 2000s on
automobile industry in Pakistan."
• Research Question: Did the international
Financial Crisis of the late 2000s bring benefits to
the automobile industry in Pakistan
