BACKGROUND
The aging process con nues to occur together with increasing age. The symptoms are very
pronounced and con nue to increase progressively every day. The cause of the aging
process is less of a en on.

Internal factors and external factors cause the aging process. Some internal factors include
free radicals, elastase enzymes, collagenase enzymes, reduced hormones, glycosyla on
processes, methyla on, apoptosis, a decreased immune system, and genes.

The development of an aging medicine in the world can not be separated from the
movements that exist in the United States, which began in 1993, which was led by Dr. Ronald
Klatz and Dr. Robert Goldman; who later became known as the founder of A4M (American
Academy of An Aging Medicine).

The scope of an aging is quite extensive especially in preven ve areas. There is so much
effort we can make to improve the quality of health and reduce the risk of disease, analysis
molecule un l prac oner, such us physical ac vity to reduce the aging.

PERDAWERI have conducted scien fic ac vi es in the form of seminars / symposiums,

which are a ended by many general prac oners and specialists, one of which is INDAAC
th th
(Indonesia An Aging Conference) which will be held on October 18 - 20 , 2019 in the Harris
Hotel & Convention Festival City link - Bandung

This event will be divided into symposiums and workshops, as well as exhibi ons a ended
by several industry prac oners.

This seminar is expected to be a place for doctors, specialists and par cipants to be able to
add knowledge and experience to each other.
