Operations. It’s a highly versatile multipurpose vessel equipped with A1 Floatel facilities
and is capable to support, General Offshore construction activities, provide extensive
accommodation support for field / hook up support, Diving support and Sub-sea
installation work. The Barge is fitted with a heavy duty 400 tonne active heave
compensated general purpose offshore construction crane with underwater capabilities.
The tall crane combined with the long boom makes it well suited to reach over offshore
platforms or to stab over 70 m long jacket piles.
The Barge is provided with electric driven thrusters to assist the Kongsberg Dynamic
Position System and classed as ABS DP-3 Barge. The Helideck is suitable for Sikorsky S92A
Helibus and compliant with CAP437 and ABS Classification Rules.
The main Hull, Accommodation block and all Equipment on the Barge are fully compliant
with the Fire Safety and Life Saving requirements accordance with the latest SOLAS,
Statutory and ABS Classification Rules and Regulations.
SOLAS compliance is as applicable for Barges operating Offshore.
