The EPU should be regulated at 26 volts and provide a minimum of 16 volts, the
rating when used for starting should be at 800 amperes and no more than 1000
amperes.

3. STARTING ENGINES
3.1. External Power Switch - AS REQUIRED
(Serial: APU start when OAT is above +32ºC or below -12ºC)

3.4. Inter turbine temperature - EGT
ITT BELLOW 300ºC/EGT BELLOW 200ºC
The max ITT or EGT initiating start is 300ºC/200ºC, may be reduced by motoring the engine with
the fuel and ignition system off. To motor engine proceed as follows:
To prevent damage to start switching system, depress and hold ING OVRD/MOTOR switch in
MOTOT position before moving engine control switch out of ENG OFF position.
3.5. Condition level - LO RPM
3.6. Power level - Bendix or Woodward
For models fitted with Bendix fuel control systems, set the power level to FLT IDLE. For models
fitted with Woodward fuel control systems, set the power level midway between GND IDLE
and FLT IDLE, in GND START.

Reduce reverse thrust proportionately as aircraft speed decreases.
NOTE: Partial reverse may be used above 90 KIAS

6. HEATED WINDSHIELD FAILURE
6.1. Windshield Heat:
If windshield heat failure is detected, CYCLE the windshield
heat control OFF then ON. If windshield heat cannot be
regained, flight may be continue as long as icing restriction are
observed.
6.2. Windshield Crack(s):
- Immediately turn the windshield hear off and observe icing
restrictions.
- Reduce the cabin pressure differential to 3,6 PSI
- If above 25.000 ft, descend to 21.000 ft or below to maintain a
cabin altitude of 10.000 ft.
- Continue flight to destination.
- Reduce speed on condition.

Note:
Replace windshield at destination. One additional ferry flight to
an authorized repair facility is allowed providing the above
limitations are observed.
