This particular position entails the responsibility of working with a team to produce and manage
inventory for the bakery. Kitchen operations must follow a consistent workflow while maintaining
safety and security while fulfilling operations.

I am the best candidate for this position as I work well both, independently and in a team, able to

Dear Mr. Calvin Su,

This letter is to inform you that, as of January 1, 2020, I have decided to resign as Assistant Pastry Chef
at Butter Baker Headquarters, unit #10 at 140 Amber Street, Markham, Ontario.
I would like to sincerely thank you for having given me the opportunity to work along some of the
brightest bakers in the profession at Butter Baker. It has been truly enlightening to have been able to
learn new techniques in French pastry making and working in a professional establishment. However, it
is with a heavy heart that I formally tender my notice.
Though I understand this may be of some inconvenience, I would be more than happy to offer my
services in the application, selection, and training process of any new members to the team. I would like
to make sure Butter Baker is being cared for by bright, determined, and passionate individuals who will
strive for success.

I would be grateful if you would write a reference letter to any future employers I may have to help in
coming endeavors and career aspirations.

Please know that I truly am grateful for all the experiences I have been exposed to that have made me
the chef I am today. Should there be any changes in circumstances, I am open to returning to Butter
