General Instructions & Duties of Officials

CIRCULAR
The End-Semester Examination (Theory) for Semester-I, 2019-2020 for all UG and PG students
except MBA students is starting with effect from Dec. 02, 2019 to Dec. 16, 2019. The final Date
sheet for the examination has already been displayed. Following arrangement have been made for
conduct of End-Semester examination:
There will be two sessions each from Dec. 02, 2019 to Dec. 16, 2019 (one from 9.00 AM to 12.00
Noon and other from 2.00 to 5.00 PM) for all students.
A. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Computerized seating plans will be displayed on notice boards on the day of the examination.
2. Course Instructor shall be solely responsible for the setting of question paper as per the approved
scheme & syllabus for the course(s); getting requisite number of copies prepared and its safe
custody. Teachers are requested to make appropriate size bundles of question papers for
distribution in different rooms, with room number clearly tagged to each set and deliver
the same to the Chairperson & Deputy Supdt. of Examinations (respective control rooms),
at least 30 minutes before the start of the examination on the date & session indicated in
the End Semester Examination Date Sheet.
3. The Course-Centre-Room wise allocation of candidates can be seen on the Webkiosk,
please. Soft copy of Duty Slips will be sent to the Departments/Schools before the start of
examinations.
4. Faculty is requested to be extra careful while setting the question papers. Teachers are not
allowed to announce any corrections in their question papers during the examination.
5. Each faculty member will be provided the details of his/her duties through WebKiosk as well as
soft copy sent to the Heads of Departments/Schools. Heads are requested to ensure the
distribution of duties in time.
B. CONDUCT OF EXAMINATION
g) The following control rooms have been set up for conduct of End Semester Examination.
Course Instructor will collect the answer scripts of his/her course from Chairperson & Deputy
Supdt. Examinations, immediately after the examination is over. He/she shall evaluate the
answer scripts at a place of his/her choice ensuring their complete safety. In the case of core
courses, instructor will ensure that marking is completed in a meeting with the tutors in the
University itself.
Course Instructors shall enter the marks as per the specified procedure within the time period
prescribed for evaluation of answer sheets of End Semester Examinations (already circulated).
